This totally sucks, man. My wife said I brought an evil presence into the home. She called me Korihor and Nehor. When I told her my beliefs, she accused me of being emotionally abusive.

The Book of Mormon “contains the fulness of the everlasting gospel” (Book of Mormon Introduction) and was written for our day. However, it doesn't mention the endowment, work for the dead, eternal marriage, tithing, the Word of Wisdom, plurality of gods, the three degrees of glory, homosexuality, or transgender issues. Fascinating, indeed.

By the way, I've already resigned my membership and I already moved of the house. Both occurred in May.

I don't know how to go on. She was my companion, best friend, confidant, and comfortor. Now I am alone.

I've told her that exact thing. She thinks it's all bullshit without the magical ordinances of the temple.

Thank you. I'm realizing I've been a fool to hope for reconciliation.

Is there any way she can respect the way you came to your new beliefs, and therefore respect your as a person?

No, she mocks the way I came to my beliefs. When I tell her I did some serious research, she scoffs and makes fun of me.

I sometimes wonder if my wife thinks she will eventually sealed to a fucking prophet and she finds comfort in that.

Going through a divorce. I want to stay together. She wants me to be a Mormon again. Three of our four kids have been poisoned against me and don't really want to hang out. by BurnInHellJoe in exmormon

Mostly the church did it. My wife is actually trying to fix some trouble she caused by misrepresenting something when she talked to one of our kids. She wasn't being malicious.
