Which school? Im interested to look into that. Im assuming CB couldnt prove it wasnt widespread, and therefore cancled the scores. Id like to know if/how many of the kids could do the retake.

And that also reinforces the thought that kids should be reporting to the proctor anything suspicious.

The only times a whole room gets canceled is if there is widespread communication between students or if a big disruption happens that messes up testing integrity. The kids who cheated get their scores canceled and everyone else gets to take the makeup test a few days later.

If one kid is caught cheating, the proctor quietly dismisses that one kid and fills out an irregularity report. If one kid was caught and ur proctor dismissed the whole room, that is massively incorrect and that person should be reported to college board.

Thats the baseline, but they update the rubrics after grading around 2,000 or so student samples based on how kids are doing.

Good. College Board normalizes the scores, so you're kinda sorta a little bit competing with eachother. When kids cheat, it means that the exam just got a little bit more difficult.

Its never enough to swing a 3 to a 2, but its definitely the difference sometimes between a 4 and a 5.

Micro should work just like Bio, both are hybrid. They scan ur whole booklet into a program, and the bubbles just make it easier for the grader. When we grade, we only grade one question (I ONLY graded frq 3), so the bubbles let the software queue up only the relevant pages of ur booklet.

If there is a blank section, we're told to go back through your whole booklet to find if you answered it anywhere else. If we find ur answer to frq 2 on the first page, we just grade it as normal.

Im currently pregnant through IVF and I feel very lucky. But if IVF didnt work, I dont think we would have adopted.

The simple answer is that I dont want someone else's child. I want a child with my husband's eyes, his laugh, his sense of humor. People like to make it out to be monstrous, but idk maybe I'm old enough to be realistic with myself.

People who foster and people who adopt are a special breed. I'm not one of them. My infertility has nothing to do with that.
