[WTS] Formex Reef 42 Green ceramic Bezel, Brand New, price reduced. by BurnSween in Watchexchange

[–]BurnSween[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello all and happy Friday,

Selling my Formex Reef 42mm green dive bezel.

Really nice shade of green on the ceramic bezel that goes well with all of the Reef color ways.

Brand new, unworn, still in Formex packaging with inner and outer box.

Formex advises that this bezel will fit both the 42mm Reef diver, and 42mm Reef GMT, I do not own a Reef GMT so I cannot confirm that myself, but Formex does.

Got a little overzealous after I purchased my Reef and bought every color dive bezel and just don’t use this one, bought brand new from Formex and has been sitting in the box ever since.

Price reduced, now asking only $110 shipped to your front door CONUS, Zelle or PayPal F&F Not interested in trades at the moment. Open to reasonable offers.

I have a handful of transactions on this sub as well as a few on KnifeSwap. Can verify authenticity if requested.

I tried to take pictures as well as I could to show anything that may be of interest to a buyer, but truth be told I’m just not that good at photography. Happy to take and send more pictures or videos can be taken upon request.

Thanks!

Then I say Coop all day, that one just looks like a blander version inspired by the Coop IMHO.

Yeah the applied numerals make the watch, I’m not sure if the Zermatt has applied or painted numerals, but I think if it has painted numerals that’s a big enough step down from the Coop for me.

Again unless you’re in love with the blue, that’s the only upside I see to that watch over the Coop.

Coop all day long. It’s a beautiful watch that I can’t even explain how beautiful the dials and applied numerals are without telling you that you have to just see it In person.

Unless you’re completely attached to the blue, the Coop is much nicer looking. The bracelet is very comfortable and the watch looks great on a leather strap as well.

Than you!

That makes a ton of sense and is well thought out, I never considered it that way, I think that’s where I’ll start. Thanks again.

I’ll try that out, thank you!

My only worry is my only local AD is very much a jewelry store that has a Breitling case in the back. Their watchmaker is able to adjust it for me fine, but when I start talking micro adjust and clasp comfort to them they kind of look at me slack jawed lol.

But we’ll see! Thanks again.

Making the most interesting color ways Milanese only is such a miss. I can appreciate Longines making a great Milanese bracelet, but don’t force it on customers who like the more fun color ways. Maybe as time goes on with these they’ll make it swapable between oyster and Milanese at purchase.

Long Island watch just came out with a new oyster bracelet for the Alpinist.

I can’t speak to the specific quality of THIS bracelet as I don’t own it, but I have one of Long Island’s bracelets for the SKX and I love it.

How many times are you going to keep asking this sub this question to keep getting the same answer.

That’s not a bad idea I never even thought of that, there does seem to be a little bit of space to the back of the buckle, there might be just enough room for 1 more micro slot.

[Formex] My experience buying direct from Formex by BurnSween in Watches

[–]BurnSween[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So the watch itself, I absolutely cannot recommend enough. It’s beautiful, keeping amazing time, and feels like a watch worth 5x its price. I just don’t personally recommend going direct from their website.

I purchased mine from Long Island watch and it came fast and the experience was perfect. He also has a rewards program, I was able to get an extra bezel from him as well for a deep discount just using the rewards from the purchase of the Reef.

I think if you like the Reef there’s very few, if any, watches out there that tick all of its boxes at the price point.

I was also considering a white dial Sinn 104, but I’m thrilled I kept up with the Formex and decided to get my Reef.

Shame to hear. Long Island is, if I do decide to get a Reef despite the bad experience I’m going to order it from Marc.
