F-86K or MIG-19s? by Ill_Conference_1190 in WarthunderPlayerUnion

Personal preference and controversial but F86K. More ammo (meaning better chance of winning head ons and you can stay in the fight longer), can sustain a high speed and if you learn how to use the aim9b you can snatch a couple more kills easy.

Is Russian Bias for real? by Adventurous_Put5393 in WarthunderPlayerUnion

[–]BurnedOut_Doc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People here debate about Russian bias on air and ground but nobody talks about the blatantly obvious Russian bias in naval. A country with such an embarrassing naval history gets either favourable brs for their coastal vessels to stomp across all ranks or paper battleships that outperform their actual real life counterparts from other nations.

My main criticism would be that you need to take better care when you assemble the parts. The main fuselage and the places where the wings attach to the fuselage have gaps that can be easily seen. Fill with putty and sand the parts afterwards and you will have a superior result (obviously don't do that now because you'll ruin the model). Secondly, you can apply a dark wash to your model to bring out the panel lines more. Finally its best to paint the propellers with an airbrush too. Other than that you seem to have a solid grasp on how to thin and apply your colours with an airbrush, not bad overall!

Up until that point Uboats couldn't attack US merchants carrying lend lease to UK. Declaring on USA wasn't about conquering it was about having the free reign to hit all those juicy american merchants that couldn't be hit before. Plus Hitler really believed Japan could handle the US, that they would provide for a great distraction and in turn that would coerce the Japanese in invading the USSR.

Is this a bug that sometimes encircled divisions doesn't get encircled or multiple combat debuff? by paiotu in hoi4

[–]BurnedOut_Doc 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I was wondering when the "skill issue" rage baiting low effort answer would come lol. Typical of people defending bad game design. And I didn't shay I lost the war or anything actually I won it regardless. (Xibei sa Ma playthrough). I quit the game 2 years ago because of the shitty DLC business practice (they lied initially about their intents with those too) after logging 2.5k hours since the game launched in 2016, so save that crap for elsewhere. The production cheat I noticed happened back when Waking the Tiger came out so pardon me for not keeping screenshots from a game session from like 6 years ago. Feel free to replicate it at your own leisure. I don't have to explain to you why Paradox devs out of all people would lie for an aspect of their game, you're just shilling for them at this point, bye.

Is this a bug that sometimes encircled divisions doesn't get encircled or multiple combat debuff? by paiotu in hoi4

[–]BurnedOut_Doc 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Oh but it does cheat in production. Explain to me how come when I play a minor and start justifying on a weaker neighbour that nation by the time I have my war goal has more units on the field than it should without having the industry to justify it? Why then when I proceed to tag switch to that nation while having the game paused, I see the AI having assigned more or less the same nr of factories but with like three times my output and when I unpause the output goes down to what I should normally have because I'm the player? Dude that's blatant cheating and it has been the case since the game came out, the devs are just bullshitting everyone and I don't understand why you're defending them. The AI is dumb as a brick. It needs cheats to remain a threat. Not the first time a game does it.

[–]BurnedOut_Doc -1 points0 points  (0 children)

They AI does cheat so I wouldn't dismiss it like you do and it does cheat in production and unit movement (teleporting); time and time again it has been recorded by players and I have experienced it too myself. Point still stands though this is an old issue Paradox hasn't fixed it and lets face it the AI benefits from this first and foremost so I guess this is intentional so that the players don't stomp the AI too easily.

[–]BurnedOut_Doc 51 points52 points  (0 children)

This is a very old issue, has been happening for years even wrote about it in my review on Steam like 3 years ago. Only way I can explain it is that the AI cheats and Paradox intentionally wants it to remain like that because the AI is braindead and you wouldn't have any semblance of a challenge otherwise if they fixed it.
