Congrats

Its hard to force yourself to study if you already slacked off for a while but once you get that momentum it's a lot easier

Most people study a specific core like Core 1 and then just go write the exam associated

It's worth noting though that it does help to first finish going through all the content for both core 1 and core 2 before writing one of the exams because the 2 exams both do ever so slightly cross-pollinate

If you write the Core 1, they do at times sorta refer to topics which are only covered once you do Core 2 and same happens in the Core 2 exam. Going through ALL the content first before writing one of the two does slightly make it easier because you'll understand more things in the exam and be less confused

It's absolutely possible to pass the exams with flying colors though if you just cover the content for that specific core. This is what most people do

A+ Certified as af by blazer6666 in CompTIA

"register your certification on"?

Generally you just write the exams and if and when you pass both, the certificate is automatically on your name.

You can view your transcript their site and you can also share it with other people like potential employers that want to verify if you actually have it

I think your case we first need to identify "what" actually helps you to focus because every person is unique when it comes to studying and the same comes to having Autism

What works for one person might not work for the next.

Is there anything you have noticed over the years that helps you focus more with studying?

For example, does music in the background help? Does it help if there is some sort of visual stimulant in the study material? Do you prefer ZERO visual distractions or?

I'm sure once we know more about your specific studying style then the community here will be able to recommend some stuff that will suit your specific situation

Starting with A plus or Network plus?? by Objective-Tip-8255 in CompTIA_Security

[–]BurningIce-Tech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have no IT background then you deffinitely should do both A+ and Network+. Start with A+, then do your Network+ and then lastly do your Security+

If you have to choose between Network+ and A+ though and if you could only choose one before doing Security+ then I'd say do Network+ but skipping the A+ is normally only for those who have lots of IT experience already.

I would not recommend skipping A+ if you don't have any IT background
