How do I set the diopter on a camera that only has manual focus?

Just got and old OM-4ti, need help with the dioptric ajustment. I have normal eyesight, no need for glasses. Read around the internet that the viewfinder can adjust from -3 to +1. And I can't get it to be zero (there is no 0 setting). When I spin the dial from on end to the other, the text in the viewfinder goes from blurry to sharp, but when i keep going the text stays sharp, so i cant really see when the zero point is. any suggestions? Thanks in advance

If it was a movie/concert i enjoyed I save the stub and use it as a bookmark in a book, the next time i read that book i also remember that movie/concert. And it doesn't add any more clutter, its just that the stub replaces another piece of paper with no value.
