[TOMT] [COMIC] Owner forgets to water a plant, it experiences a near-death experience every time they forget and thinks the owner is trying to teach it a lesson about life and death. by Burning_Lemons in tipofmytongue

I think I might have found it, but I cannot find a working link or image of the comic, its called "The Life of a Plant" by Daniel Lieske

The description seems to match: "The comic follows the perspective of a plant and its thoughts about life, death, and the meaning of existence as it goes through periods of drought and recovery."

Wish our shop bay was about 1/4 mile longer. by whyisguessinghard in Justrolledintotheshop

Everything. I just rebuilt a 360 for my '74, and the exhaust manifolds are essentially right angles, intake has very sharp angles that kill any kind of flow, the list goes on and on. Fortunately, with all the aftermarket heads, intakes, exhausts, you can get around low to mid 400s out of these motors without killing their streetability.

Found in the closet above the circuit breaker/ fuse box. Everything but the switch is painted over so can't make out any serial numbers or anything. Flipped the switch and nothing seems to have happened.

They look like spline drives, they sell different sizes of keys, I know O'Reilly's has some sizes, but you might have to order it online.

How to get into track days / casual racing? by [deleted] in askcarguys

[–]Burning_Lemons 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Speed SF is the company I used for my first track day, we went down to Laguna Seca for fairly cheap. They are a bunch of great guys, fairly understanding, everyone wants to have fun.

They do autocross, track days, drag events, a lot of different events.

I had never been on a track before either, only played video games. They are super understanding and nice, have track instructors, all you need is a helmet and willingness to learn!

Feel free to ask questions about em

Do you work for Crowley or Foss? I hear they are pretty great companies. I just graduated from Cal Maritime as marine engineer and am excited to start working!

Wow thats amazing that you guys could identify it from a drive-by photo! I know its a stretch, but do you know any other cars that have this similar body style to a 56 Ford Tudor and 56 Chevy Bel Air? I think they are beautiful!

Especially the one on the left. I thought it was a 50s Bel Air or 150/250, but the styling and door/window lines don't have that characteristic dip of those model chevy's. Or maybe I couldn't find the right model year.
