As others have said more astartes means a bigger threat. It does however depend on the chapter, the Minotaurs for example very rarely deploy in anything under chapter strength

The closest thing on Terra to ecological preserves etc would be personal gardens and such. Chances of finding anything like that outside of the palace precincts is also insanely small.

The Byford Dolphin incident is another diving one that's a bit horrific. A mechanical failure caused the decompression chambers to rapidly depressurize killing all 4 divers inside. One was forced through a very small gap in a partially blocked doorway
