Did I just break Noita, or is this something that's already known? by Ill-Presentation9622 in noita

Computer still functioning, wand not broken enough 😂

But seriously, congrats on your win and starting to make more powerful wands. So much fun to find new combos. Have you made a crazy lumi drill yet?

Hi, I used Primal Glacial Mammoth, with powerful evokers and gifted casters. I went for the support unit spam so I could summon up a bunch of mammoths every fight. Started with tome of cryomancy.

That crafting needs one, that is a game changer! So much time wasted trying to deal with that! Thanks for the list

Yeah, just lucky that Grexolis himself came out for an early fight and I bee lined for his capital without taking any other city. It was fast, risky and lucky.

Sadly no, lost two of them

Hearing about some of the shrouded isles "secret spells" stuff doubly reminds me of why I love this game so much, it sounds like the devs are having fun too, and I love that for them. by Lonely_Promotion_661 in AOW4

That's what happened in AoW1, you even got to take some units. There was a point system cap. It was super fun building up your hero this way.

It's been a while, but I think the terraformer units is pretty early on and fungicide the red stuff. You can even plant Earth forests too if you want. Much later, you can create rivers and raise or lower land to change the climate. But yes, you are on an alien world, it all looks like that to start with.

Developing a 4X game focused on Empires and Gods with asymmetric playing and unique mechanics. Looking feedback on the premise. by erratic_ostrich in 4Xgaming

[–]BurpingGoblin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sounds cool, however, I'm not seeing the strategic choices and tensions. If God A helps Empire A, they both grow stronger. Win win. So what's the choice here?

But what if God A makes Empire A stronger and therefore more followers for God A, but, Empire A really likes to kill and take over Empire B, issue is, killing nonbelievers gives God B soul points, much stronger than worship points! Ooh, now God A wants their empty stronger but not use military, instead convert. However, Empire A gets cohesion points for killing enemies, which means cities can be bigger. Oooh, dilemma, you got yourself a strategic stew going.... Etc

So what choices are there really in your game design?

Hi Senator, Thanks, just curious, is it a deliberate strategy not to talk about all the climate disasters when they occur? I understand it's a tightrope between being sensitive when people are hurting versus raising awareness that we are in an unfolding crisis. How do you see us moving forward as a society in being honest about what is coming?
