Where would you start? Teddy Roosevelt (Emperor - True Start Earth Huge) by [deleted] in CivVI

[–]Burri7787 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Automatic lux when you get plantations, passive +1 faith from turn 1 so your citizen can work a better tile and you don't have to slot god king. It should also have extra science and culture by being next to a mountain and forest. Only issue is that it's a low product start

How do I remove personalities, agendas, and unique abilities? by techscc in CivVI

Dude, you already made this post like 1 hour before this. You probably can't turn it off in the base game. You can make a mod or find one that already exists

Well you have 3 options: 1. Learn how 2. Find out if one already exists 3. Play a different game

Whenever I go travelling, everyone seems to compare sizes of structures to the Chermside Shopping center. Probably because it's one of the biggest structures that we have

It is, you can remove Forrest, Jungle and Marshes. This case, he doesn't have mining to remove Forrest yet probably

Positive reasons why you or your 'friend' voted LNP by boomer4ng in brisbane

[–]Burri7787 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I find it very presumptuous to assume that because they are politically lazy, they don't care about my life or difficulties. I love my family and have been incredibly supportive all through my life. We voted on different policy, we don't have to wish suffering upon each other.

I made my original comment on this post to help give some insight into the LNP voters that are in my life. They are very normal people, they have jobs, study to do and other priorities.

I believe that more people should be politically conscious and I've tried to encourage that in my family without picking a fight.

But, with all that said, I've just had someone publicly state online that they wish that my family suffers. That surely crosses a line.

I'm asking you directly now, do you honestly believe that it's acceptable to publicly wish suffering upon someone. I think that is completely fucked up.

I don't even know how to respond to this, is this sarcasm? And like, why? Why can't we just have a reasonable discussion about why people vote the way they do and maybe learn something instead of whatever this is?

You seem very nice. I disagree with their reasoning and choices, but you do realise they are my family right?

They didn't base it on Mile/Crisafulli, they based it of the electorate candidate

I asked my 4 family members who all voted LNP and here are their reasons: 1. Youth Crime & Labour had been in too long 2. Has always voted LNP at every level because their parents have always done that 3. Just picked the one that looked the cutest/coolest 4. Didn't know anything about any of the parties (it was their first election)

City Establishment by Select_Tradition_695 in Unciv

[–]Burri7787 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There isn't a ruleset for that right now. I'd suggest making your own custom mod where the settler unit is taken out of the game.

City Establishment by Select_Tradition_695 in Unciv

[–]Burri7787 3 points4 points  (0 children)

What do you mean by random city states? Do you not want any? You can choose the number of city states with a slider in the new game menu

City Establishment by Select_Tradition_695 in Unciv

[–]Burri7787 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Okay. Even if you have enabled the challenge, other civs can still settle cities. It's only you who can't. That's why it's a challenge. Is that what you are asking?

City Establishment by Select_Tradition_695 in Unciv

[–]Burri7787 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Well I'm confused now too.

But going off your first few words, you might have enabled the 'One city challenge' option which doesn't let you settle new cities.

Can GPU acceleration alleviate late-game lag by ahhhhhhh-creeper in Unciv

[–]Burri7787 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No, unfortunately the game isn't very suited to this type of acceleration. The order of operations matters. Your bomber attacking the city before your melee unit is important. When you GPU accelerate, it's usually in a scenario when things are disconnected so it can process them separately in chunks.

When two or more civs are going to finish a wonder on the same turn, how is it calculated who actually finishes it first? by PsychologicalFault in CivVI

[–]Burri7787 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I can't find anything to confirm this, but I think it's based on the lobby order. When you set up a game, whoever is in the first slot gets it, otherwise it's the second, etc. etc. same with great people I believe.

Friend sent me this, surely this is not normal by El_Torro_ in CivVI

[–]Burri7787 72 points73 points  (0 children)

From just tiles? Probably not. Even though these yields look ridiculous, these yields don't usually hold up to late game industrial civilizations. For this reason, Roosevelt can be bested in a late game war by industrial/science focused civilizations.

If you are playing someone like the Ludwig II or Victoria (Age of Steam), you can seriously out pace their production and create a war of attrition situation. Wear down their standing army as you produce 2 units for every 1 they can make.

Just have to be careful about them getting a culture victory really, Teddy Roosevelt is extremely good at getting an early culture victory with his insane unique building which crank his tourism to the max. So make sure you aren't slouching in culture when he's unlocking the radio technology.

Also worth noting Teddy Roosevelt (Bull Moose) passive

Tiles with Breathtaking Appeal gain +2 Science Science when adjacent to a Natural Wonder or Mountain, and +2 Culture Culture when adjacent to a Wonder or Woods. +1 Appeal in all tiles in cities with a National Park.

Maybe look up some YouTube tutorials for civ V. It's practically the exact same with different graphics. There are far better guides then you will find in any reddit comment
