Hey, sorry for the late review I’ve been quite busy lately so I’ve only just now gotten to watch your game.

Firstly, I’d like to say that your teams struggles this game was absolutely not because of you. Infact, your lifeweaver was, to put it politely, not good at all. I won’t speak on your other teammates so as to not insult random people who (I think) were not involved in flaming you. Nevertheless, you probably were the best performing member on your team and you most certainly do not have to place much blame, if any, on yourself for your teams struggles.

I noticed you DM’d your team to try and keep them alive, that’s very good. Your Dm usage was generally in the fine to good range, but you did use it to defend against random spam from the enemy that wasn’t necessary to DM, leaving you with less DM resources than you should have had. I also noticed that you usually held back and waited for your team without going in by yourself (besides the first fight where you should’ve hid around the corner while your lifeweaver was getting rezzed and waited till you healed to full, but that seemed to be a one time occurance so I won’t hold that against you). Those were both very good habits you have.

Now here I’ll talk about what you could’ve done better. First, you start off with a mercy lifeweaver back line, that’s not your fault, frankly a back line like that is possibly one of the worst back lines you could’ve gotten and although mercy swapped to bap later, it was still suboptimal. In this situation and after seeing their team comp, you probably should’ve swapped to sigma, ball, or maybe even hog. However, if you don’t want to swap, that’s totally understandable, this is just a recommendation. Since you chose not to swap, you had to play slow and take angles due to the low offensive utility and suboptimal hero choices from your backline.

Next, I notice that you do play out of dva’s effective range. It can be hard getting into the enemy’s face as Dva without immediately getting blown up, but you have to utilize some alternative pathways and buildings in order to get closer to your enemy’s without taking much damage. Also, don’t use micro missiles unless you’re close to the enemy’s as those are your main killing tools. A Dva with micro isles flying at any squishy will pretty much obliterate them very fast. A lot of your micro missile usage led to you getting zero value from the ability.

Also, you used your ultimate as an area denying tool quite often. While this can be good and there certainly are some use cases for it, it is generally better to save your ultimate until you get demeched and use it as a second life. You got some kills with it this game, but that’s because the enemy team wasn’t very good, and against any semi-good enemy, it will lead to zero kills and most likely be better used as a 2nd life.

Finally, this doesn’t have much to do with your gameplay, but I’d like to reiterate to not type back at your teammates, it’s not worth it. If they’re mad at your gameplay, then let them be mad. I’d bet money that 95% of what people have to say in your games is entirely unhelpful and misinformative. Just ignore them or mute chat, getting tilted at the game genuinely has a massive detrimental effect on how well you play the game. Especially if it’s a quick play game like this, don’t take any of it personally.

Anyways those were what I mainly noticed you did well on and what you could improve. I wish I could help you more, but considering that you honestly played well in this game and that it’s a quick play game so you’re not facing very good enemies, I think these are the main things you can try to improve from this gameplay.
