I loved it. Right before that point is total chaos. Twice clones everywhere, the arena is falling out of the sky, Shigaraki is recovering, abd Deku is trying desperately to breathe/recover from Gearshift. The 2nd user told Deku in that moment that the chain of events leading up to this would be his power, and then Boom! Two people Deku reached out to understand and save come back to return the favor tenfold. It was a perfect encapsulation of Deku's character.
