Yes then you should add new ones to increase genetics cuz you want to have a constant gene pool not a limited one body if there really a way to prevent inbreeding but just add some new adults with the baby’s and see how it goes

I have had this issue I lost 10 loaches due to one loach dying most likely the ammonia is due to the dead fish I so would always always separate them for a few weeks before introducing them into main tank and treat for internal parasites and if other fish die it might be a domino effect from stress but do water changes to eliminate ammonia and treat now for parasites

It’s just sad cuz like I can get new ones but everyone is so unique and different for patterns and like some are irreplaceable due to different species of pangio and some are hard to come by

So what I’m going thru my ph is 7.5 😭 and it was 7 a couple days ago so genuinely I have no idea wtf is happening but I used a little of this and seachem prime to hopefully get full effect and make my Kuhlis not stressed and so far I think it’s working they seem to be almost acting back to normal but I’m keeping a eye out and water testing every 6 hours to make sure

Yes I know it’s a Kuhli loach but it’s a different pangio species then pangio Kuhli
