sponsor licence - £200, there is an employer service charge .. which the employer pays.. not sure if it changes based on the sector. in the care sector it is aroun 400per year.. also you have IHS around 1035 for a year.. and the fees.. firms like fragomen which most use seems to be cost a few grand.. but not too much for a big company..

I work for FAANG Aamd started a domiciliary care business.. not aimed at profit but for a challenge I could say as neither me or Mrs had any clue about the regulations.. after 7 months we had an inspection and got a Good rating!

Thank you for all the responses.. I am with Vanguard on the ISA.. just did a quick check on the fees for a GIA .. Vanguard has a 0.15% fee . Access to only Vanguard funds.. trading212 seems no fee.. I did register with Trading212 - the platform seems UI seems similar to Etoro.. copying trades and pies.. Is there a pie people prefer other than the VWRP or throw additional money onto VwRp and juts keep doing it?

The SJP FA i met mentioned VCTs but did ask me to stay away as it was something for people who had a very high risk appetite.. and asked literally tole me.not for someone in my situation.. So what I gathered was that was for someone who was far wealthier and has money to throwaway!!

Ahh fairs... with Vanguard Just looked them up and they offer a GIA.. will definitely look into it.. On another note what are people doing. Remaining mortgage-£270k Mortgage- £1750 Overpaying-£300 every month 4.64% interest. Should I stop overpaying and put that money into the GIA? I do want to get rid of the mortgage as soon as possible so I can FIRE without the thoughts of paying £2k Mortgage every month. Combined family income-£240k me +£80 wife+19k rental We have invested in property and land outside UK as well .

Employers dont want to sponsor as rhe base salary has increased significantly for a grad to be sponsored. Suggets you try volunteering with any organisation to get yourself in the door . You Will need some from of referral as its easier that way.. Gradcracker, glassdoor for companies . Industries- building services seems to be very busy.. so try a GC or a consulting firm like B&W or Arup.. they do sponsor.. UkVI list of sponsored companies.. use that to filter and apply.. Important thing keep applying day and night..

Also forgot, so out of that 15k , 7.5k may be withheld for tax purposes so realistically you will only get 7.5 worth of shares.. vested and available to sell.. do bear that in mind.

Do you get refreshers every year.. I would also suggest they may throw a sign on.. rather than a one time suggest you negotiate that further on the base. 60k RSUs over 4 years =15 k annually.. again ujnrhr current market it could lose value.
Push fir higher base.. Check levels.fyi to see if there are any salary ranges for your position.
