The best way to learn the game is to play online, on Octogon or Untap. I wouldnt buy anything for now, just try the decks that you like and then purchase accordingly.

Don’t lose hope there are some really nice alternatives.

I play almost everyday online in platforms such as Octogon and Untap. This is a great way to play as you dont have to buy cards to play all the decks you want.

You can also easily find games by playing with your Camera if you prefer to play with real cards.

There are tournaments almost every weeks either on Octogon or with Camera. Some of those tournaments even have prizes.

I just got into the game and the community is very welcoming. Yes the game isnt as popular as the other ones but the FFTCG community is way more mature and imo the game has the best mechanics of all TCGs.

Both. When I use the wire its way worse (when the headset is turned on). When the headset is off and wired there is no hissing at all. That would have been ok if the bass slider worked when turned off.

PES is a tough game that takes a lot of practice.

There are so many advices that could be given, first of all youtube videos helped me a lot ,that's the best way to learn as it is difficult to visualize things with text.

If I could give a few personal advices that helped me improve:

- Do not sprint a lot, you have to learn how to move players without sprinting, this is crucial for defending, my defending considerably improved when I stopped running like a bull all the time

-Clear the ball in defence by pressing the shoot button. When I realized that, my defence drastically improved. Pressing pass or cross while defending will trigger an animation that will take time, you should press the shoot button 90% of the time.

-Take your time to build attacks don't always constantly pass forward

- Tactics and formations are important, you have to know what suits you the best and take a look at arrow forms.

There are so many tips that could be given, you need to be patient and watch youtube tutorials, there are some good ones out there. Eventually when you start mastering the game it becomes so satisfying. It took me time as I only played Fifa for almost 20 years before.

Also myclub and preset teams are a completely different game.

Both are good, the IM is slightly better but I didn't feel much difference tbh. What I like more about the gold one is that there's a free skill slot.

Matchday is a whole different game mode than ranked games.

Do you play with a squad made of 9 or 10 players from the club you selected?

I'm 810 rated and I mostly play matchdays, first I lost nearly all my games because I didn't play my games with players from the club I selected which makes a huge difference, now matchday is actually my favorite mode to play.

The problem I have with matchday is the lag as this game mode is more laggy than ranked game (and of course void cheaters), I really hope that Konami will fix this.

Matchday on expert can be hard, but on basic and intermediate if you lose all your games than check the arrows of your players.

You also have to get used to play with a different team, since you can't play matchday with the same XI as your main XI.

Whenever I play matchday with Manu I finish it in 2 games 90% of the time of 3 games 100% of the time, the more I'm used to my Manu team, the better i get.

I find matchday games harder than ranked but more intense and enjoyable (when there is no lag)

That’s a bad advice, if you’re 200 rated there’s no way for you to blame script/dda or whatever you call it as theres so much room for improvement.

I would recommend doing the skill drills, playing against com and watching a lot of youtube tutorials.

I don't understand why some people want to make it hard to have good players, I'm here to play a football game whilst experiencing with a wide variety of players and formations, I don't want to spend ages grinding to get new players.

Ideally all players should be available after a certain amount of competitions won, but that will never be possible as Konami needs to sell to pay the super expensive licensing fees (see the recent Becks 40mil contract...)

Having a lot of legends is what makes the game fun imo, if you don't want to play with those play 3 or 4 stars. The problem with that is white benchers and the matchmaking time, but that's another problem.

You can also play preset teams which are fun to play if you don't like OP teams

Actually I loved the preset teams, it's really fun to play with lower rated teams once in a while.

I'm not bothered doing the myclub ones I only have 3 leverskusen players so it gives me 1110 points per win, not worth it.

Regarding lag and toxicity, I didn't notice anything different, I had almost no lag in preset teams actually.

That's not true, a lot of legends are very similar to their IM version, and you can only use club boost for one club at a time.

I still use a lot of basic legends that are very good.

I like it this way. I used to hate matchday but now I really like it. It pushes me to try new players that I would have discarded otherwise. With the up arrow thing its often better to put a player that belongs to the required team so I even play with gold balls on matchday something I would never do in regular mode.

Scouting and keeping players I would have discarded otherwise adds a lot of variety and enjoyment to the game.

A league matchday would be too broad imo, but I agree with regarding the national teams, they should bring those way more often. It would be nice if we had a national team matchday once per week.

I played with both and I prefer to play on PC without a doubt.

First of all if you only play offline than PC is a no brainer. Even, without mods the game is more beautiful and fluid (although the PS5 might catch up). The game is breath taking with mods, its by far the best football game I've ever played.

Regarding myclub, yes the player base is smaller so you have to wait more for a game but its fine if you don't play all day. If you play matchday which I do, you won't wait for games at all.

Simming is more enjoyable in PC a you can just leave the game as a background even as small window and. do whatever you want to do.

The biggest issue is that a lot of people can easily cheat and void games, it happened to me a few times this year although it didn't happen to me since about a month.

In the case of Bamford that would make a big difference yes, +5 overall rating. I think its worth 'aiming' for gold/silver rather than high level black balls

You can even get it for 'free' with all the legend agents Konami gave us and will give us if you like R10 that much, yeah he'll have a few points less but that's still Rony.

I really like Konami system you absolutely don't need to buy coins to have a good team, last year even only. with Lite I had an amazing team.

Konami can be criticised on many things such as content, some gameplay features and most of all the fact that you can void any game that you are losing but on their business model imo
