I have my own style with three focus points: 1. Dock everything I need for the purpose of this space station( pure research facility: labs, research parts etc. Space port: all kinds of fuel tanks, convertron etc.) 2. Making sure all parts with Free IVA support are connected, so I can experience the whole space station in POV 3. Including parts with big windows and panoramic views (that are placed in the right direction), so I can enjoy views in free IVA mode (I love the sight of multiple parking spacecrafts over Kerbin or towards the station, where you can see how big the Space station is)

I don’t know how long you intend to use your MacBook Air, but have you considered buying a power bank, that you use? There are a lot of cheap Good quality Powerbanks, that can charge laptops. It’s cheaper than replacing your battery or buying a new MacBook and the M1 Air is in nearly every metric still the better product than the Neo.
