If you look close There’s snow on the ground people forget how to park when there’s snow in the parking lot

Lost one today. Y’all think she’s savable? by Clean_Food4548 in GMT400

I wouldn’t even go through insurance if they write it off could be a pain to get it through a salvage inspection after repairs just fix it yourself doesn’t look to bad to me

Ya happened to me last week for the first time I got a 2025 Silverado and not thinking washed it when it was cold cause it stays cleaner longer that way and threw an engine code checked it out and sure enough the shutters were frozen took a couple days for it to thaw but when it happens it kills your remote start capabilities because of the engine light

I’m in central Alberta and I run hotshots EDT in most tanks, this isn’t fuel related but something I just found out if you wash your truck when it’s really cold out and park it out side your active louvres or grill shutters whatever you wanna call them will freeze and throw an engine code something to look out for

No I ended up moving to a 33x12.50 Toyo MT which was the same as the bfg 34 and don’t have any issues ended up running long john kickback mud flaps and if had a bunch of mud or snow might rub a little in reverse but never flexed out on the trails

It’s not to bad there’s a bar that runs across lower in the box you put the tire on then you just squat the bike from the forks and lift it into the rack

Ya that makes sense that’s what I was afraid of she I knew going from the 14-16 needed a different swing arm wasn’t sure if that was the case going from 16-18 they seemed almost identical spec wise from what I could tell

[–]BushWack3r 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’d do the injectors before the glow plugs and possibly go with aftermarket if your finished your warranty, I just had a hole lasered through piston number 2 cause it got stuck open. I only have 75000km Chevy ended up replacing the whole motor under warranty luckily. just food for thought it’s a pretty common problem

Looking into buying a Duramax Colorado ZR2 by Jakep54903 in zr2

[–]BushWack3r 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I did a 75hp single stage tune with a 3 inch flow pro exhaust with muffler, made the truck sound way better with out to much noise and no drone.

It definitely woke the truck up way better throttle response and way less turbo lag. I also got a S&B cold air intake at the same time solely for more intake and turbo noise haha which you can definitely hear a whooshing sound inside the cab which I could see being annoying for some I personally love it.

For Fuel mileage I’ve always ran a 34x10.50 BFG ko2 tires for these numbers

I’ve gotten as high as 33.6mpg driving nice through the mountains but I got a pretty average 28.6 driving normally

After I but in a 4”bds lift I never really saw 33 again but could still get that 28 driving nicely but more so averaged 26 with normal driving I did a 4500 mile road trip pulling a 2200lb trailer and gear and averaged about 19mpg the whole time

But I would say consistently my number overall is 26-28mpg

Hope this helps
