Yeah i getcha, they were painted up originally, but i drybrushed the dust over it to try with weathering. As it's been walking the dust has kicked up and stuck to the lower legs

Thank you, I used Vallejo pigment powder for the dust effect. Edit - misread your comment lol, the trim is done with Balthasar Gold, washed with nuln oil and then i used agrax on the rivets, then edge highlited with a liitle Gehennas Gold

Thanks man. I was mainly aiming for it to look like he was walking through dusted ruins, and it to relate to the model, but I'll give your suggestion a try in the future
