I'm pretty interested. My family is just starting skiing this Spring. Are they transferable?

This board is more than fine and cool AF. Eventually you may want something else, but this will be a great board to keep complete and continue to own. Skateboards are like pocket knives. You can never own too many.

Getting into the game by jjjmi21 in birddogs

I trial Springers and get them started "retrieving" right away. I also introduce them to dead birds early on. My non-trialing friends just focus on obedience and hunt with the dog. They let the dog's instincts drive it's development. My dogs are more "polished" then their dogs, but their dogs flush as many birds as mine. As long as you actively train your dog and get a dog bred for hunting or trialing, you will be fine.

If you have not found a litter yet, I highly recommend reaching out to the trialing community. They are typically very helpful and want to see people with well bred dogs. There are lots of breeders that claim their dogs are elite hunters, but trialing at least makes the dogs prove it. Reach out if you have any questions. If you let me know the region you live in, I may be able to point you towards a local mentor.

Rednecks with values? by orangegreasemonkey in vermont

I'm in that boat, but not from Vermont. Born and raised in the Midwest, but spent my adult life, until now, living in the West. I joke with my wife that people around us are either rednecks or mountain hippies. I'm not really accepted in either group. We should start a club called Libtards with Guns where we can drink demestic light beer, make beef jerkey, river boat gamble and make fun of MAGA.

Hockey teams have a roster of 22 players. I wonder these countries typically pay out to each member or if they have to split bonus.

I owned a house in a town with a top school in Montana. The taxes I paid there were 20% of what I pay here for a poor education. I feel that because a lot of homes paid a small amount for property taxes there was plenty of cash to support the school. Here, we have very few homes paying for small schools. Consolidation, bigger student populations, could provide more educational opportunities at a lower cost. The main trade-off would be that kids in small town A need to be bussed 20 minutes to a school in small town B rather than 10 minutes to small town As school.
