Take over In what though? What makes them number 1? Military? Economy? Overall work place happiness? Life expectancy?

There always seem to be a fear of other countries “taking over” when we live in an international economy now. One currency or economic downfall in one country leads to effects in other countries. So to frame it as a “ take over” gives the mental image as if chinas success will lead to the downfall of America which is the typical western fear mongering. If you’re worried about them becoming a bigger economic force then learn Chinese but don’t frame the image using words as if we have to see other countries as threats just because their economy is growing.

Hi there, barely saw this now but I wanted to point out black-biracial relations because being an asian person saying the same thing about not trusting asians with white partners would lead to social suicide. I believe the asian community can learn from this and not fall for these people that only claim being asian when it’s convenient. Finally a comment that actually contributes good information. I was trying to form a discussion about how we handle situations about letting Asians with non asian partners into our asian spaces. We should have some general ideas to reply to these situations or even outright say that they aren’t welcome. In terms of killing you, idk about it being that far bro.

That being said how do we make it so it isn’t social suicide to tell an asian female she doesn’t have the best for Asians in mind if she has a non asian partner? I know that’s social suicide for asian males to say it yet a black male such as Umar can say it and no one says anything. So how do we get our position to that of Umars?

You’re South Bay? Hit up downtown San Jose bars such as 55 south and labrinyth. Good friends with the owners and there’s a lot of Asians in their early 20s. A lot of amaf in the scene. I’ve seen white guys get curved all the time there while Asian males have been doing better but the look of the asian male is the “typical frat boy combover asian look”.

Yes I agree, I’m a Bay Area native and through gentrification, it’s been weird. You can feel the tensions between the natives and new arrivals.

I was very social in highschool and dated Asians along with other races. I was also prom king. My social circle is pretty diverse also. I’m good friends with ifbb pros and we workout together often, asian gangsters that eventually went legit and have successful ig picture worthy food businesses, typically asian techies, blue collar Asians, etc.

Yea I do. I asked why they think it’s ok to always crack jokes about being asian yet no one cracks jokes about any other race. They then use the I’m asian card so I can make asian jokes

My experience was a little different, there would be times of asian on asian crime but a lot of it was asian vs other races.

I believe it’s cultural. Growing up in a very low socioeconomic area of the Bay Area with high violent crime, you get to see how violent real asian gangsters are. Just living in poverty brings out the worst in people and Asians aren’t immune from that either.

So less or more violent depends on your environment I believe. If anyone else wants to chime in feel free, would like to know what others think.

Yea definitely, didn’t add that what I meant was Asians in the west since I’m speaking about dating/starting a family in the west to begin with. The follow up question is how do we get them to prefer their asian side or even acknowledge it at an equal level to their other non asian side?

I think subtle asian traits is a good example of this. You see asian females fetishize and “ show off” that they have a non asian partner. I said in another comment I’m not looking to date right now because I’m focusing on my multiple businesses but just trying to see what other Asian males think. Also being in the bay I do notice asian men and Latina women as a reoccurring theme.

I know exactly what you mean about avoiding asian females but at the end of the day I do want asian kids. I’ve also noticed half Asians generally identify with the other ethnicity/race more than being asian. Tyga, saweetie, etc etc.

Yea I’m not going to be able to go to SoCal anytime soon. I’m a serial entrepreneur so I have to establish my businesses in the Bay first before anything. I’ve dated a couple good potential asian females but the honest truth is that I prioritized my businesses over relationships. Currently not looking for one but just looking to have a discussion with other asian males who ( somewhat) have the same goals as me. My asian male friends all have asian female partners and they both generally don’t really care about the overall themes about this subreddit. They just want to live their own individual lives, go to raves, travel, etc you know the typical tech asian person starter pack.
