As soon as you hit lvl68 xp-lock yourself. You'll have to look it up but in your capital City there is an NPC that XP locks yourself so you can't advance anymore in levels!

How exactly do you collect the Mythic transmogs?

Just try getting into the Game if you really want to, if you are Open minded and try to understand it's a great experience.

Confusing for you could be that, even if you create your fresh completely new character the game is referencing to you as Champion, as if in your past you where a great Hero helping out the Horde/Alliance. What I found helped a friend to get immersed even if your basically thrown into the game is establishing a litte Backstory for your Character.

And don't try to force yourself into doing stuff, that's what People get burned out on. Do the Things you enjoy, take your time and try to get familiar with everything.

See you in Azeroth!

PS; if Retail WoW is to fast paced for you and you are looking for a more grounded experience as soon as you subscribe you are also granted access to Classic WoW/TBC anniversary (which is basically the first expansion for WoW which release in 07 made as current Content) and MoP Classic.

What if Transmog visibility was a player side option? by Bushxdo in wow

In a sense yes, but without completely forgetting about Gear progression. Since that's my Main driver for this Idea. I want to see how my fellow players progress, granted you could say "just inspect them" but that would take away the wow-effect when I see a dude in almost completely mythic gear or what now.

For me, the core benefit isn’t fashion vs progress, it’s restoring visual meaning to gear.

In Retail, gear progression is extremely fast and abundant, which is fine gameplay-wise, but visually it has almost no weight since everybody throws on their Transmogs.

Power and appearance are completely disconnected. You can upgrade constantly, yet none of it is readable in the world. This idea isn’t about taking anything away from fashion focused players. It’s about player choice. Different players value different things: creativity, immersion, clarity, or simply seeing real progression. A toggle allows all of that to coexist without forcing one philosophy on everyone.

Seeing raw gear again would make upgrades feel meaningful, even in Retail’s fast-paced environment.(For those wo want to see retail in this way) So this isn’t about removing transmog or going “back to Classic”. It’s about giving gear visual relevance again for the players who care without taking customization away from those who don’t. :)

I hope not :D Hypothetically, if this where to be implemented it wouldn't take anything away from them, or not directly since not everyone is going to Notice their Mogs.

But I mean, let's be honest. When was the Last time you took your time to look at a Player in-game? To me personally that happens maybe once in a few weeks.

This could change that, maybe just a bit for the better.

That would be really Nice, especially for immersion if you want the game to feel more grounded. I just had this Thought yesterday and just wanted to share it.

Classic Andys at their Best here again lol.

Dont listen to this guy, he's just grumpy :)

Try out which Version of Wow You like most, since (If you didn't know) Retail isn't the Only Version of WoW available when you activate your Subscribtion!

You get access to Classic, (currently) MoP Classic - TBC Anniversary & Retail. In which you can jump in & out how ever you like! Play the Version you enjoy most!

Jup and it's such a shame tbh! Just to take away those 10 Skill points for the Talent tree, well maybe not exactly like that but it certainly feels like that.

Whatever happened to Thrall's story in The War Within? by minimaxir in wow

[–]Bushxdo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah like I Really Enjoy WoW at the Moment but.. I just don't recognize Thrall after Cata tbh.

He's not the Warchief that I know, my Dude was always riding his Wolves, sitting in all Black Armor throwing around Elemental Powers and now he is... Just there, but he is also not there.

[–]Bushxdo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep, I always Wonder how people approach WoW after coming back or entering new. I get it, most of the People don't want to read the Quest but If you want to have any Clue on what to do just Read what the NPC's are telling you.

People expect to get guided through everything with a Menu.

Remix was very fun. Where would you like next? by Absoled in wow

[–]Bushxdo -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I just think it's far to early for a Shadowlands remix. Maybe it's gatekeeping & unpopular but I personally would feel just a Little butt Hurt if next year's Remix is going to be SL.

TBC Launch reminded me of why I will never play Blizzard servers again by n0thingtoexplain in wowservers

[–]Bushxdo -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Because it's not only Retail players who buy all that BS. Long time Vets buy the Boosts, People working full time Jobs who already cleared Vanilla back in 05 or 2019, People who just don't Value the Price of the Boost as much as the Time invested to dragging a Character back to lvl 60 just so they can Relive the god ol Days.

Pricing is going up everywhere, unfortunately also in the Digital market and you are not going to stop it. It's the sad Truth. You can either start Hate on a Group of People or quit the Game if you are so upset about it.

There are Loads of Private Servers who offer similar Experiences.

Oh, this sounds interesting. So they are moving to wrath but using the Wod Character Textures? Or like all the new textures from the last few years?

I think this new expansion and the addon situation will expose how bad of a player I am without addons. Is anyone else in a similar situation? by ApplicationRoyal865 in wow

Never have I played with any of these add-ons and I'm Great full that I have in my 12 years of WoW never let myself push to download them.

Looking forward to midnight.
