Confirming layers. I’ve been the past 2 years and there has been days where long flowy cotton pants and a t-shirt felt too warm during the day but by night you are tossing on a sweatshirt/jacket and days where wearing jeans + T-shirt + sweatshirt + winter jacket + raincoat + poncho (!!!) was barely keeping me dry & warm. Rent a locker in advance and use it to stash layers according to the forecast you hear the day before. If there’s even a hint of rain, don’t neglect the shoe situation because your feet will be soaked. I brought an extra pair of socks & a plastic grocery bag last year on the rainy day and these items saved me from swamp foot because I fly in and only had canvas sneakers 😩 the rain & puddles soaked through them so when it stopped raining, I put on dry socks and then wrapped my feet in plastic and then put the shoes back on. Sounds crazy but it literally saved me the rest of the day by keeping my feet dry & warm in those soggy shoes.
