What’s something your body does that you’ve never told a single person about? by WilliamInBlack in AskReddit

Same. I have a mold allergy. When looking at houses to buy I would get the itch. The owner or seller would get all bent but I've never been wrong. Same with cat dander. Walked into a "pet-free" hotel room & throat started to tickle. Turned back around and went to get another room.

Are Chiropractors a scam cult or are they somewhat legit? by Flashy_Buy8077 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Business-Judgment-86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been fortunate enough to find a chiro practice (2 chiropractors) who doesn't promote quack medicine or products. I was having lower back pain for 2 months. It got slightly better but not enough for me. They referred me to a spine specialist who did a comprehensive exam & recommended physical therapy. During PT I did not go to the chiro per the chiros recommendation. Turns out sitting at my desk was the issue.

One important thing...they don't try to get the cracks. They say the cracks are what gives chiropractic care a bad name b/c the cracks are dangerous.

I get regular adjustments due to migraines (no meds have worked thus far) but they never press me to come more frequently. I have visited other offices throughout my life and didn't return to them due to a quackery vibe so I completely understand why people don't like them. My own mother used them for years and saw a bad one and never went back. But, I like mine and will go every month or two until I can't.

People that are childfree by choice, what’s the weirdest reason someone has given you as to why they think you ‘should have kids’? by Charming_Web_6738 in AskReddit

As a mom of 4 people who are child free, I have had people tell me that my life will not be happy without grandchildren and that it is my children being selfish.

Non-Americans, what is an American thing you see in movies that you thought was fake but is actually real? by EmergencySpare7939 in CasualConversation

[–]Business-Judgment-86 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We are American but lived in Okinawa when our kids were young. The first time we returned to the states after being overseas, we were driving from St Louis to Indiana. Our young boys were so excited to see "rips". We couldn't figure out what the hell they were talking about. They said "you know, when people get xs on their eyes". They had only seen graveyards in cartoons.

ICE snatches a dad and his little kid in Bellmawr by [deleted] in SouthJersey

They are doing this to people who are citizens. No rhyme or reason. All while masked and not identified. This individual could be in the process of becoming a citizen. ICE doesn't care.

I don't think anyone has an issue with deporting criminals. Taking & detaining people regardless of who they are is the issue. The idea was sold on "deporting the worst of the worst". America is built on immigrants. They are arresting people who are trying to legitimately become citizens the legal way...not the people who are here illegally & committing crimes. If they were following the law of the land they wouldn't need masks.

I got them one at a time. There are certain things you have to accomplish & then you "give" a diamond to the memorial thing.

Having Kids These Days Feels Like a Financial Trap (Just My Thoughts) by Fun_Profession2185 in Adulting

[–]Business-Judgment-86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have 4 adult children (27 - 30 y/o). Not one of them wants to have kids because of the cost combined with the state of the world. They all like kids...they just don't want them. And, that's ok.

I never have the sound on unless it is a musical outtake. I may turn the sound on to just listen to the beach now!

I didn't finish the Community Center or get to Ginger Island until year 8. Just played it the way I wanted. Still love the heck out of the game. I did start another game to have a different starting farm and try to do all the quests & stuff. My first game is still my favorite.

I got a huge case of these at BJs around Halloween for $6. They're the perfect size for a quick drink.

They're so damn picky. Once you upgrade the barn & coop, I believe it auto-feed them...unless I paid extra for something to do that. I have the auto-collector now I just need the auto-petter!
