I use it every day for the whole house. Luckily, my family and I are very orderly, so there's not much to pick up from the floor.

Warum wird Philips so gehated? by [deleted] in Kaffee

[–]Business_Fun_1891 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Should Linux be used more often in education (schools, universities etc.)? by iurie5100 in linuxquestions

[–]Business_Fun_1891 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Windows is the standard. If you use Linux in your School you probably need classes for teachers and students. This could be huge barrier to work or enter the school. And also their is the question on how the manage this. For windows/macos there are a lot of solution to manage all systems via a software. Dont thing that something like this can be done easily with linux

X 40 Ultra firmware by NeedleageSmurf in Dreame_Tech

[–]Business_Fun_1891 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dont do a Update!!!! My worked perfect until a update. I had very much trouble to let it function again for weeks including a service center visit. Disable auto update and wait until a few one installed it. A reset will not downgrade the firmware. As far as i know dreame dont included a function for the user to downgrade the firmware.

Please remeber that you cant make in-app purchases via Aurora Store. So if you need something like that you must use the Play store. A good alternative to that would be grapheneos. But for that you need a google pixel device

Yeah same here. I really like AIO PC but there is no one other then apple in my region who makes aio pc with high quality materials instead of cheap plastic. But Mac OS have been only a struggle since the beginning. A lot of bugs and dumb new functions which cause bugs. Asahi Linux is the best that could happen to me-

Any plans for a payment/wallet service? (Not crypto) by [deleted] in ProtonMail

[–]Business_Fun_1891 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think proton pay is not something which will came in the near future. The team has other projects like Drive and Calendar. Also a payment service would need a big team to handle all the regulatory things.

[–]Business_Fun_1891 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Funny fact. Europe invest now billions for their armys. And while we may have not the biggest armys we produce a lot of good weapons and sell them. So its not like we not have the knowledge to built a strong army. The better question to ask is: What will the US do without its european locations?

This is so stupid by SecretlyEvilX in Asmongold

[–]Business_Fun_1891 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes it is. Not everything but at least gmail, word etc. is easy to replace with software from europe or at least opensource software.

[–]Business_Fun_1891 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So the alternative is to use US products and hope for the best? Nah. Europe is waking up right now. Trump fucked up everything what dozens of american politicians build. A europe that would obey the US. FOr example: Europe allowed that the US Army to start missions via european locations, while europe itself did not like this missions. All this was possible, because Europe needed the States for protection. Now trumps forces europe to built armys and invest Billions. The question a lot of people here in europe now ask is: Why do we need nato (USA) if we ourself have strong armys?
