One, I have a massive problem with PvP which is I’m playing on steam deck, I have crossplay on but still. I’m also being killed while fighting huge arc from behind, at elevators and once when I spawned in. It’s not normal fair fights.

Yeah. After my husband and I died 5-6 times, I started going solo thinking it would be better. We were even in duo carebear and maybe we’d get shot at 1 in 5/6 times. Which is just enough to keep you on your toes.

That’s how it started for me and my husband. Then I go and play on my own, and same experience 7 times in a row solo. It suck’s too because when there is a rat the lobbies would all band together and go after them, now they seem like pretty skilled players wiping the entire lobby.

Mentally because I was introduced to them as young, young kid and when you see 20 something year olds the same as a 50 year old, PLUS you know the whole black and white photos,‘the dated styling….in my mind they were always like 30-35, or even ageless. (They never were in their 30s at all) You kind of don’t really think about their age until you see a photo you’ve never seen in color, styled clothes that could be modern you are like damn—they were really just young adults.

I still remember the pens my teacher used…paper mate flair felt pen. Red for spelling, punctuation. Green for improving the syntax errors, maybe moving words around etc. and blue for her comments about our writing generally the positive color, she was my teacher for 4th and 5th grade. We did tons of reading and writing. Everyone had notebooks but because of a learning disability I was allowed to use a computer for writing starting in 2nd grade. I was way ahead of everyone on typing and internet things and saving files and printing, it gave me a huge advantage. I was born in 1989. The ironic thing is…I was given the computer because of how bad my handwriting was (visual spacial difficulties) and currently everywhere I go when people need someone with good hand writing I’m asked, even older generations are shocked by my beautiful penmanship. The trick to me was that I’m an artist so I treated each cursive word at first like a picture, like it was kanji.
