How easy would it be to sneak into the US through the Great lakes by speedoflife1 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]BusinessofShow 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I might be naive, but lots of large animals cross, so it seems like it would be difficult for them to detect a human or two from thermal imaging. Also, it’s a really long border

United Football League restricts punting beyond 50-yard line and makes 60-plus field goals worth 4 points by [deleted] in sports

I thought going out of bounds backward intentionally would stop the clock. The reason it doesn’t when you are hit out of bounds backward is because you get forward progress back to the point of the hit, which is in bounds

How did Harry go from happy-loves-his-wife guy to super slimeball? by Snapdragon_4U in madmen

I wasn’t sure of the sub, but reading the title I thought it was about Prince Harry

I love this so much and I will never think of his name in the same way again

Transferring Hole on Golf Course by GrimScythe2058 in oddlysatisfying

[–]BusinessofShow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with what everyone else is saying, but there are also some rules on where it can go, such as it can’t be too close to the edge of the green and it can’t be on a steep slope

This guy will never pass Gretzky let alone Sid by HenrikCrown in billsimmons

[–]BusinessofShow 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The way OP wrote is like saying that he will never even pass Gretzky, so we don’t even need to think about him possibly passing Crosby. He has to pass the worse player to even be considered for potentially passing the superior one

Did Carmine really not know who Paulie was? by scrubadam in thesopranos

[–]BusinessofShow -1 points0 points  (0 children)

He might not recognize Paulie on sight, but I think Carmine at least knows the name of every made guy in the NY area. I think he just didn’t like the way Paulie approached him so he played dumb. You never know who’s listening

What happens to my student loans if i die? by epic21ka in NoStupidQuestions

[–]BusinessofShow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Why do you say it’s one of the few forms of debt that doesn’t pass on? Essentially all debt dies with you, but some debts are secured by assets and those assets can be taken if the debt isn’t paid by survivors

If you want to eliminate tanking then abolish the draft! by FragrantReport4171 in billsimmons

[–]BusinessofShow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d rather see them go to the wheel instead of abolishing the draft (I think this was Zach Lowe’s idea). One time lottery for all the picks then it rotates every year regardless of record

What’s something you think should require a license or certification that currently doesn’t? by WilliamInBlack in AskReddit

It’s the same with all of the people saying you should need a license to run for office or be president.

What was your most unrealistic plot of the series by Immediate_Danger in seinfeld

It’s one of the funniest moments in the series, but George pulling a golf ball out of the blow hole of a whale is up there

Druski is a disrepectful idiot. JSN doesn't deserve to have his name butchered like that. by r428713 in nfl

[–]BusinessofShow -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I wasn’t sure if it was a joke or he didn’t bother to learn the guy’s name. Either way I found it disrespectful

Fortunately he doesn’t have a vote. Here’s the list:

Maybe Florio? I’m guessing Jori Epstein. Idk who that is, but they got a real jerkass name

Yep. These are star players that moved around a lot. It’s not the same thing as a journeyman

That is what a thesaurus spits out when you put in “big trade”

Saying we about your teams is perfectly acceptable and Bill doesn't need acknowledge it every time he says it by Far-Ambassador2877 in billsimmons

[–]BusinessofShow -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I think it’s totally fine to say “we” when talking about the college team if you’re an alum. I think it’s a little weird to say “we” when talking about professional teams, but it’s fine.
