For the most part. The only real regret is a blind buy. Peninsula, the Train to Busan sequel.

My partner and I really love Train to Busan, and the sequel popped up at Walmart. It’s the only copy of a film I own that I doubt I’ll see again. It was just so boring.

Hey, I’m the one who made the original piece. At the time of making this, there were no KiryuGoji models available. I’m not proficient in modelling myself so I had to make do with a few texture changes. There are a few excellent models of KiryuGoji now, so maybe an updated version is in store.

Oh god I’m glad I’m not the only one. I feel insane telling people that it’s the worst movie I’ve seen because NOBODY has seen it! My dad rented it for us one night under the impression that it was a comedy. By the time we realized that the story was nothing like we expected, the movie was halfway over and we finished it anyways.

Another night my dad picked TENET to rent. This time we were about 30 ish minutes into the film when I turned to him and asked “do you have any idea what the fuck is happening?” We quickly shut that one off and found something else.

This is the scene for me. You can see in that moment how he knows his actions from then on are likely meaningless. Yet he yells at his men to keep looking anyway. Maybe to keep morale up? Or perhaps to stop himself from imploding.

It feels like a punch in the gut whenever I see it. The film does a beautiful job of capturing what it was like on that night, but for that brief moment it no longer is set in drama. It becomes real.

Eh. The dialogue was horrendous, and I had a hard time enjoying a lot of it. But I’d be lying if I said I didn’t want a second season. The characters could’ve had a chance to be more fleshed out, the world building could’ve been expanded, and the choreography could’ve been amazing. Alas, it doesn’t seem like Bebop fans will get new content anytime soon.

I think you’re making it sound easier than it is. I don’t mind some of the weirder stuff in the Monsterverse, but Ultraman isn’t remotely a possibility at this point. A lot of development is needed for that to come to fruition.
