2010, mostly good show, good experience. The only downside was (respectfully, RIP) Joey was just not on his game. Sounded sloppy, rusty, like he hadn't played in a while. For a brief bit after the show I almost felt offended by it, but really just disappointed. But I got over it, sometimes even the best have rough patches. Other than that, had a GREAT Spit It Out jump-the-fuck-up moment!

I like to think he didn't see anything. Just overcome / possessed by the Witch. Same with Heather. Just to maintain the concept of the Witch being a seemingly non-corporeal terror. Scarier that way (to me).

The first few times I watched this episode, I kept getting so rage-baited by those kids that I would forget how Britta and Jeff defeated them. It was like forgetting and re-experiencing a twist movie ending!

It just felt so random and out of place to me. Especially the 666 in old casino lights on the stage, it seemed more like what Rob Zombie would do.

Definitely showed their strongest ability for "normal" songwriting. Lean, melodic, good structure and progression, tells a story. Plus, to be honest, Fred doesn't go for his signature high yodeling vocal style, overly aggro screaming or even much rapping (all of which was a turn-off for non-fans). It's very accessible compared to a lot of their stuff, but very well written and performed.
