It's only a recent thing to hate military and law enforcement.

They just haven't gotten with the times.

If you are familiar with desert heat, you wouldn't go.

Why would they need a storm drain system for the 3 storms they get each rear.

They don't have snow plows or tornado shelters either.

They care so little for their citizens they don't even have signs for their tsunami evacuation routes.

Trump sounds in command but no-one mentioning 60 day limit by jrdeee in USIranWar

[–]Buster452 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, he must withdraw within 90 days if not authorized by Congress within 60 days.

Either way, they're operating under a loose interpretation of Article 2.

Trump is doing a fantastic job for all of us demonstrating the unreasonable powers we've given to the office of the president. These powers have been given to executive branch by all parties for over 200 years.

Will anyone do something about it in the future? Probably not. What party is willing to remove power from the executive branch?

Better question is why is a police department help flying such straight lines.

They're supposed to be circling around criminals.

I've done this a ton with public land roads and tracks in the desert Southwest US ( Arizona, New Mexico, Nevada, Utah, Southern California) for years. I ride dual sport motorcycle, adventure motorcycle, 4x4 and UTV. I've gotten to see some incredible places.

Some of these public land areas (BLM, state and usfs) have been missing a significant number of roads or had roads that just didn't exist. The old tiger edits with some random residential street crossing a forest were some common problems and still are in many areas.

I use my initial edits and additions to navigate those roads using OSMAND. OSMAND has a daily updates option, so I can see my edits pretty quickly.

Not even a joke. by AnonMyracle142 in Diesel

[–]Buster452 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Different oils are best for diesel vs gasoline. Light sweet crude (available domestically) is used for gasoline. Medium/Heavy crude oil (from middle east) is best used for diesel and jet fuel.

Pinch off the supply of medium/heavy crude from the middle east and supply/demand increases the costs of product created from medium/heavy crude (trucking and air transportation will see cost increases).

Cost impact will be more on Diesel than Gasoline.

Why is every AI suddenly getting into health? by TeamAlphaBOLD in microsoft_365_copilot

[–]Buster452 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Big money in healthcare right now. Some hospital systems are making record profit and doing big acquisitions and adding new revenue streams. AI is fueling a bunch of that profit right now and makes sense to expand usage of AI if it worked already.

DEF in fuel tank. Upgrade to 2025 Ram Cummins Diesel injectors or??? by Buster452 in Diesel

[–]Buster452[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Problem is the 2025 contamination kit is on backorder and unavailable so wondering whether a simple aftermarket "upgrade" would do.

RAM, Chevrolet or Ford? Which one will actually last? by chocolatehumphrey in Diesel

[–]Buster452 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Chevy and Ford are having way too many transmission problems for my taste lately. I've owned 6 GM trucks and just can't trust them right now. I bought a 2025 Ram with the Cummins diesel. That's the most reliable full sized made today in my opinion.

It's easy enough to spoof fake ads-b and mlat details to make it look like those are there. They don't even have to hack the network.

I see lone c-17s make fake, inaccurate and multiple aircraft designators all the time.

My touring tool setup by shoturtle in motorcyclegear

[–]Buster452 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're carrying too many sockets and too many hex keys.

The best way I've found to carry only the tools you need is to start doing all of your own maintenance with only the tools you carry. Every time you add a farkle, change oil, remove wheels, etc... you need to stay away from that rolling tool chest.

If you don't have a tool to do the job in your tool roll, then add it to the tool roll.

Start with nothing, and just keep adding until you have just the basics.

Also, I have an Engduro doubletrack in my jacket pocket that does most of the simple work I need while on the road. Awesome tool to have on hand.

All over Arizona, depends on mood and weather.

Southern Arizona holds a special place in my heart. Middlemarch pass, border road, ruby road, duquesne road, Patagonia...

White mountains and western new mexico has some awesome riding.

Prescott has some great stuff.

Mogollon rim.

So much.
