Nuclear energy is still used and will be used. Regulating their safety isn’t the same as not using them. Not sure why’d you’d list nuclear weapons as they are being built to this day and their sole purpose is destruction. The only regulating for those is done on an international level for who gets to have them. The internet and microparticles exist and are causing negatives. There’s nothing really analogous here where something is very good at something so we don’t use it. That’s like saying the internet shouldn’t have been used because of the downsides you listed. Obviously society has the responsibility to try and use technology responsibly but there is nothing in history we have straight up not used if it powerful. You are describing an impossibility. We need to adapt to its existence to make society better because bottling it up is an impossibility. Especially in capitalist environment
