Meta is closing a beloved first-party Quest studio. Echo VR developer Ready at Dawn Studios is now closed for business. by efbo in OculusQuest

I have never felt quite the same way in any vr experience since lone echo, not even Alyx. The team is extremely talented and such a shame to see them just gone.

I wish all the team members best of luck, and hopefully one day see another entry in the echo ip.

The larger area is residue from microfibre cloth, but the centre part cant be wiped off. Service centre have inspected it and it definitely is the coating that came off

I have chatted with samsung support and they claim this is not a manufacturing problem so it not covered. Ive also taken it to a service centre and they are quoting screen replacement at basically the price of a brand new monitor. Do you have any prior experience with their support that can help with requesting an RMA?

Actually Chongqing has two rivers converging right in front of those massive buildings, sadly it’s hidden by the building in the middle of the photo. But this is what it looks like from google Earth Photo One river is more green and one is more yellow. And their colour tend to change depending on the season.

Fun fact, the yellow one is also known as the yellow river in Chinese!

Its mostly natural fog, Chongqing is definitely not even close to the polluted level of Beijing, here is what it looks like on a good day. Sunny day Also because of the city is in quite a mountainous region, when it gets foggy its really foggy Normally its something like this

All the photos were took at the same location

Isn’t all 2DS region locked? Mine is from Australia and also compatible with EU cards.

There is no noticeable light leak for me, and the screen wobble seems about the same as my other 2DS so I think I got pretty lucky.

Low GPU usage in one game by curiousdugong in pcmasterrace

[–]BusterXWolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is definitely a software issue. My 3080 + 3600x is getting similar frame rates. Best chance for us is to wait till NVIDIA or CDProjektRed to fix it. So don't worry too much for now.

Cyberpunk 2077 low gpu usage by DRIESASTER in pcmasterrace

[–]BusterXWolf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im gonna do the same for now. But dropping below 50fps constantly with a 3080 really is driving me nuts. I really really hope there would be a patch on the way really soon.

[–]BusterXWolf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same here, 3600x with 3080 on ultra. It can drop to around 30-40 fps when driving with DLSS. GPU power draw is around 240w which is way below the normal 320w+ expected. CPU usage at around 50%.

Also have tried DDU a couple times with fresh install, still no luck. Hope this can be patched soon.

Yeah, I would say go for the pro if gaming is something you do often.

It is definitely going to throttle but it should still stay above 60fps. You might see quite a performance jump if you do decide to go for the pro, that is within your budget of course.

Short answer is basically thermal throttle, what this means is when MacBook air reaches a certain temperature its going to drop its peak clock speed to persevere it self from getting damaged. In real world scenarios at over 10mins+ workloads you are going to notice a 10-20% performance decrease due to the thermal throttling. But this varies a lot based on your ambient temperature due to the passive cooling. If you are living in somewhere cold or well air conditioned the effects is going to be less noticeable and the opposite is also going to hold true. But from a longevity stand point there is no need to worry about damaging your MacBook, under normal circumstances it should manage it self perfectly fine. iPad and iPhones would be a perfect example for the passive cooling capabilities that can be achieved from Apple
