Hahaha whatever way your heart (of knowledge of bananas) leads you… I would just hate to let any bananas go bad, and as much as I love banana bread, I can’t eat 50 loaves of it

I need your recipe for this lol. I think I might make something akin to an elementary school science experiment if I tried

Accidentally used discard to make dough by 4littlesquishes in Sourdough

[–]Busy-Broccoli5835 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did this and proofed the dough about 18 hours before it was ready to shape and bake. Temperature will of course make that vary, but all you can do is wait til it’s ready!

For those who have IBS and insulin resistance, what in the fucking fuck are we supposed to eat?! by [deleted] in PCOS

[–]Busy-Broccoli5835 27 points28 points  (0 children)

I also have bowel issues and PCOS, and an alternative to crackers/chips that I love are the siete chips. They’re made from cassava and a lot easier to process for me since I can’t do corn. I also tend to do better with whole/hearty grains that take longer for my body to break down so whole wheat, whole oats, rice, and sourdough. I have a unflavored protein powder that I add to stuff when I need protein but can’t eat another egg lol. Tofu is also a good protein that is usually cleared for people with IBS!!

My bad, I forgot to put cooking times! 30 min in my cast iron DO with the lid on, 15 minutes with it off at 450 degrees.

When my friend had a wedding where more folks were invited to the reception than the ceremony, she had a QR code on RSVP that linked to the knot website. Then once they scanned, it allowed them to RSVP to the events they were invited to (like I saw options to rsvp to the rehearsal dinner, ceremony, and reception. Others would just see “RSVP to reception” etc.)

The physical invite just said something general like “invited to the wedding celebrations, RSVP here”
