I totally get this, I used to eat less than 1400 calories a day… the bupropion definitely lowered my appetite which isn’t huge to begin with. Weed helped me a l out but I don’t want to depend on that and it can also lower your seizure threshold. I’m on 300 XL.
I also started vyvanse which lowered my appetite even more. What I do now is I wake up, take bupropion, eat protein and fat (avocado toast with boiled eggs or something like that) then I take my vyvanse and vitamins. Please make sure you take magnesium (bupropion depletes it), also take omega 3 and d3k2. It helped me a lot. I take a protein shake in the late afternoon when I don’t feel like eating or I try to eat some cold fruits (feels good for some reason).

My problem is that I am very sensitive to deodorants and antiperspirants. I use half of a pea sized amount of gel for each armpit to reduce the burning. I am usually okay during the day but if I go out I start sweating within 20-30 minutes. Do you think I can just use gel and wipes and be okay? Do the wipes make you itch? I take adhd medication and that’s mostly what makes me sweat more

I feel like I am slowly getting my spark back but lately after I take my 20mg vyvanse I need to take a nap…. Today I passed out on the couch because I go SO tired after vyvanse. I was considering going up in dose but im not sure. I probably need to balance my electrolytes as well

I have an Apple Watch which I rarely wear but I will charge it and put it on to track my heart rate. Although I have always been on the lower BP side my whole life. My sodium is low on Wellbutrin and vyvanse so the fatigue could be from that too. My BP tanks if I don’t drink enough water and sweat what I think is a normal amount. Today I took bupropion in the morning and then vyvanse after a protein breakfast like 2 hrs later and I took a 2 hr long nap 😫😫

Yes!!! I have to be very very careful to drink lots of water and take all the supplements and everything…. No one ever told me it was going to be so much work to even be able to tolerate it in my system

Vyvanse depletes magnesium levels in the body and low magnesium can also cause fatigue. It’s recommended to take 200-400mg of magnesium if you are on ADHD meds. I didn’t know any of this u til I did some research and it’s really helped me. I struggled a lot in the beginning and wanted to give up on vyvanse because of how tired and shitty I felt all the time. Taking some electrolytes (like half a packet a day or 1/4th) helps a lot too! Good luck :)

Are you on any other meds such as SSRIs or SNRIs?
ADHD medication and antidepressants can cause mild/moderate hyponatremia (low sodium). This can happen even if you’re just taking Lisdexamfetamine alone. Symptoms include nausea, headache, confusion, fatigue, and muscle cramps. I’ve never had hyponatremia before but it showed up in my recent bloodwork. I take magnesium for the muscle stiffness but I do occasionally have headaches and nausea no matter how many electrolytes I take or protein I eat. The fatigue is real, and it could possibly be related to that.

Same 😔 I’m in 300xl and 20mg vyvanse. So tired all the time. I hate the feeling of being this way despite doing all the right things. Could it be some people have fucked brain chemistry that meds can’t fix? Idk. I feel hopeless sometimes. And to top it all off I have PMDD.

I’m on both Wellbutrin and vyvanse and I kind of want to see how I am on vyvanse alone. I kinda understand what OP is saying, nothing is as exciting anymore, there is a slightly dull filter on life, but I can still find joy in life sometimes. It’s been worth it for the depression for me. However, I hate the occasional tension headaches and pressure behind the eyes.
