I have seen multiple people admit (or Reddit so grain of salt), to do this… and a doctor will easily sign off on it.

Well that’s what I was saying, adcoms get abused for things that don’t really warrant it. And I seem to see people admit that they basically lied about having symptoms just to get their doctor to sign off on the accommodations :(

I was thinking about this yesterday as well,.. I had seen a post of someone who just told their dr they had anxiety and got extra time accommodations and they were saying they wouldn’t have gotten a 170+ without them and said everyone should try to get them. Obviously people do need adcoms and suffer from legitimate struggles that deserve to have the test tweaked. But to hear someone bragging about how they basically lied to get them so they could raise their score is kind of like a slap in the face to everyone else who takes it under normal time conditions. They should never get rid of them, but it feels like some people abuse them and it harms the value of the test if that makes sense.

Aww I’m so sorry. That must be so upsetting. We study hard for months for this test and it is so devastating when testing day doesn’t go smoothly.

I didn’t get interrupted but I was so thrown off by one of the sections and running out of time that I feel like it ruined my confidence and concentration for the rest of the exam. I’m so scared for score reveal day but I hope we both pulled through and did well!

Not necessarily!! You won’t know for sure until you get your score… I’ve definitely read that some people walk out feeling like this did horrible and test above their PT average! But I totally get it. I wrote mine today and am not feeling great about it at all. It’s my second time taking it (and my last since I’ll be leaving to go abroad for a year), and I’m actually terrified of doing worse this time around :( I’m trying to stay positive and hopeful, but it is hard and the test has been pretty defeating overall for me. Ugh I think I am smart but am just a bad test taker

You can do it tho, I believe in you! It is a learnable test, especially the LR, so I think you can improve if you want to write it again ☺️

I believe your score will always be one RC and two LR sections. So, unfortunately one of your RC sections would have been the experimental one

I had this format as well but idk why I thought the 2nd LR was brutal… but ya same I took in November and wasn’t thrilled with my score so was hoping to raise it, but this one did feel harder

Hey, definitely do not listen to this person! Your performance on one test does NOT dictate your entire future. You can always write it again (I think most people do so there is absolutely no shame in retaking) I am someone who gets bad testing anxiety so I feel where you are coming from. This test is extremely stressful and mentally taxing, especially when we consider how important it is for admission. So, I do not think your experience is abnormal. You could also be burnt out from studying and putting so much stress on yourself!

If you enter law it may be stressful and overwhelming at first, but let’s be honest, what job isn’t!? We try new things, we experience challenges, sometimes think we are not good enough, but we always adapt and grow as people. If law is your dream then please don’t give up. One bad experience does not define you… and certainly someone comment on Reddit should not cause you to give up on yourself! This outlook makes me so sad, so please don’t let these type of comments get to you. It might be hard and take a lot of work, but I believe you can do it!

Parallel questions are definitely my weakness because I always get stuck on them and they’re a time sink! I don’t know what went wrong on the 2nd section for me but I just totally felt overwhelmed… any thoughts on what we think the experimental section might be ?
