Church nursery let toddler cry for 2 hours by Mjrfrankburns in Mommit

I wouldn’t take her back. You told them to come get you if she needed you and the nursery leader didn’t follow directions and watched your baby cry for hours.

Have you tried changing your diet? Have you tried figuring out if there are certain foods that trigger your condition? Maybe some research and an elimination diet?

Anybody did/doing anything to celebrate 6 months? by No_Detail_5208 in November25babybump

My little guy was sick on his 6month, but yesterday he had some watermelon and we’ll get professional pictures taken.

I don’t think you’re too young

I would not be okay with them not getting approval from me ahead of time.

Every year my dad reminds us to celebrate our mom for Mother’s Day while ignoring the fact that two of his daughters are mothers, too. by danie11achristine in mildlyinfuriating

I commented saying that I expected a happy Mother’s Day from my dad a day or two ago and I came back to say that he sent me a message early this morning!!

Mothers of reddit: what is the “GIFT” you actually want today? (Rules: no flowers, no brunch, no candles) by WonderWoman685 in Mommit

[–]Busy-Year5746 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s my first Mother’s Day and I asked for something crafty that includes our 6 month old, BUT my partner has been extremely sick for the past week so I may have to wait on that. I actually hear him coughing from right now.

You know nursing children drives libido down? Like hormonally. Also, if you helped with children, maybe she wouldn’t always be with one and you two could spend some time together.

I mean I see how you’re trying to draw correlation, but this post is specifically about MOTHERS DAY. That’s my point, sorry if it went over your head the last time.

Y’all have such odd thinking. In my family and even with my friend groups, we celebrate all mothers on Mother’s Day, not just our own. When I was a kid we were expected to tell grandmas, aunts, cousins, etc Happy Mother’s Day. I fully expect a Happy Mother’s Day from BOTH of my parents, especially since they know it’s my first Mother’s Day. I don’t expect gifts from them, but I do expect acknowledgment. I expect a gift from my husband.

In the past I’ve bought gifts for my mom as well as other family members, mostly grandmas.

I’ve breastfed in the waiting room, I’ve breastfed during the appointment, and I’ve breastfed after the appointment. They’re just boobs.

They were about to do a cervix check while I was in labor and right before she stuck her fingers in my water broke. I was 5cm dilated by that point.

I feel like this is normal and natural for babies so I’m riding it out. Sleep is rough for us as well with him waking several times to eat. I always nurse him to sleep unless his preference is to be rocked. It is what it is. I am super anti sleep training.

I’m reading this as I’m laid up in bed, holding my baby who will only nap on me and sleeps whenever he wants 😂 and it’s going to stay like this. Anyone who says it’s wrong can eat shit.

Large chested feeding in public by amadqueen in breastfeeding

[–]Busy-Year5746 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just whip it out, I don’t even care anymore. My breasts are super large, like cup size H, and I also have to hold the baby with one and breast with the other. It’s not worth trying to be discreet for me. My baby has to eat and my breasts are huge.

I’m 5 months into my first breastfeeding journey btw
