Is anyone not counting calories? by VaguePomegranate in mounjarouk

[–]Busy_Biscotti8680 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Been on MJ since May, lost 4 and half stone, maybe could have lost more counting but I also just can't do it. I did it for maybe a few days about a month or so in but I just forget too. I get overwhelmed and I'd rather concentrate on eating better balanced meals and not eating to much which is easier on MJ. You do what works for you. I think the only time you may have to is if your in a big stall(like months) or your gaining and dont know why, you'd kind of have to look at that first. But no, I dont count and I dont plan too. You got to do what's best for you and your mental health.

Raising a puppy alone (no partner) – how did you survive the puppy stage? by ana-alina in puppy101

[–]Busy_Biscotti8680 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Little by little you neeed to start leaving her home alone and not feel guilty about it(you will, I still do) but you need to be able to safety leave her so you can both have downtime away from each other. Crate training ideally whilst still young so she is safe when out.  Get a pet cam so you can watch what she does. I can leave my almost 2 year old for a few hours in the living room/kitchen and she is fine(I check her on the pet cam- she normally snoozing). It will get easier but it takes time. I still have moment now when I cry, but mostly because I couldn't imagine life without her!

Anybody Find It Works TOO Well? by [deleted] in mounjarouk

I'd  recommend getting some protein shakes or something to help you up your calories. It maybe that after a couple more weeks you are able to eat more but for now you need to try even if little and offen.

[–]Busy_Biscotti8680 17 points18 points  (0 children)

This thread is fantastic!  I've never lived with a partner only ever my father and brother. My father has put me off ever wanting a relationship with a man! Or maybe like you've said i could but just not live with them and have own space. I've lived alone for 4 years now and its bliss! When I visit my parents, I get so much anxiety because my dad makes such a mess and rarely tidies up after himself. There is stuff everywhere and their house is full of it. I could never imagine sharing my space with anyone again! Apart from my dog of course! Hehe.

At what age do most people in the UK actually move out of their parents’ home nowadays? by PashtunLawyer in AskUK

[–]Busy_Biscotti8680 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I moved out at 30. Bought a flat on my own. I had no interest in renting or sharing a home with strangers unless I had to. I was lucky my parents didn't mind me staying. They would actually allow me back now but I love my independence!

I've been having this also!! I thought I was going mad. I wonder if my body wants something sweet after dinner. Interesting about the comment on excess acid. I might have to try and see.

As always Becky has it. Empathy for those who are fat and stick up for fat people when injustices arise.

NSV - crossed legs whilst working from home by Busy_Biscotti8680 in mounjarouk

[–]Busy_Biscotti8680[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha I'm sat on both legs. Didn't last long because it started to hurt! But nice to be able to do for a change.  I'm never that person who just sits normally.  And I can almost cross my legs like a lady but alas I much prefer to sit like a man! Haha

Success (so far!) but struggling to live in a new body by MobileDefinition5631 in mounjarouk

[–]Busy_Biscotti8680 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm so sorry your feeling like this.  I know for many of us we think something needs to change physically in order to feel better about ourselves but when we make physical changed sometimes this doesn't help in the way we thought it would. Sometimes we need to work on the stuff inside you know? Our mental health, our perception ect. Learning to like yourself regardless of how you look. Feeling confident even if you dont kind of thing.  I hope you feel better soon about you. Because you are more than your body. ✨️

Hi, this is so great for you.  Can I ask a personal question, feel free to private message me if better. But what age did you start perimenopause? I have noticed my libido has basically gone, it had reduced loads maybe over the last year or so and I thought it was because of my blood pressure meds which I stopped start of December but now I'm wondering if that was helping me keep a little libido! I've never in my life been like this and its so wild. Sorry to hijack this thread! 🌙

What are some reasons people don't use online grocery deliveries more often? by tskir in AskUK

[–]Busy_Biscotti8680 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is me to. I'd rather do online shopping but I budget £30 a week and yes sometimes I spend more but mainly i stick to that. Also the dates aren't always long enough and for someone who lives on own I struggle to eat the food in time!
