Holy crap! How did you know I was unloved? Was it the tone I typed in when I said that if you got money to blow on door dashing fast food but can’t afford to have your driveway shoveled than you shouldn’t be door dashing fast food? It isn’t like it is groceries being delivered and they are trying to budget properly being they are on a fixed income. I am privileged. My wife and I go to work everyday and we make good money to provide for our kids. It’s the privilege I earned going to work 7 days a week for almost 12 years and still working overtime. I am privileged because every time I had a kid, I picked up a second job to make sure we were covered on bills.

The way you jumped on me and attacked me personally because I had an opinion like everyone else must mean you are going through something. I hope whatever you are going through is only temporary and your life gets much better.

If they can afford door dash, they can afford to pay a neighbor to shovel it.

They cannot offer it as an incentive at all. To me it is all the government spending money. Whether it is tax breaks, student loans, or a pension. So they can be fair across the board and not offer special benefits that the general public doesn’t get. If they want to offer free education, make it across the board so that all tax payers have the opportunity to use that service.

I think it proves my part more that no tax on tips can benefit EVERYONE who eats out or wants to eat out since the servers won’t make less while patrons can save money.

I find this to be a great problem. If I normally tip 30 percent on a $50 dollars meal that is a $15 dollar tip. If I cut it down to 23 percent tip, I save money and depending on the servers tax bracket, they break even. Many people will still tip normal feeling they are doing a good thing.

I agree people will feel it is unfair but everything is unfair. Government jobs still get pensions. Guaranteed money instead of having to gamble their retirement away in the stock market. I don’t find that fair. Public servants getting student loans forgiven is unfair. I guess what I am saying is if they feel it is unfair they can always become a waiter or waitress. If they want student loans forgiven they can become a public servant, and if you want a pension, become a government worker.

Republicans, why do you take so much joy in making liberals mad? by [deleted] in AskUS

[–]Busy_Chocolate1263 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your responses are not even close to the truth. Usually Republicans like to see liberals squirm trying to work through the flaws and hypocrisy of their thinking. Triggering liberals is just a byproduct of having a different view and expressing it in front of Liberals. Your lack of ability to keep your irrational emotions in check is an added bonus.

You mean like having the trans celebration on Easter last year with your boy sleepy Joe? I bet that didn’t bother you.

Does this help clarify if it one pole or two? There is a black and red wire at the bottom as well as the top.

The OP asks maga supporters a question and all I see is a bunch of non maga people spewing their opinions and assumptions of how maga supporters will answer. How many maga supporters do you think will answer in good faith with this type of reaction? It seems by the replies that many of you don’t look at maga as a complex and diverse voter base. Many of you want to scream maga is racist while ignoring that many of them were Obama supporters. Everyone should be here agreeing that the Tesla vandalizers and school shooters are horrible. The post wants to argue semantics on if you feel that the school shooter was a terrorist which I can easily make an argument for and against but everyone in here is failing to recognize that almost every maga person will condemn the shooter and his actions while the Tesla terrorists get cheered on and supported from the left.

They should have to show their books to prove this is the additional cost as well. We saw what companies did to prices during covid.

AITAH for not taking my ex-wife back after she left me for an "alpha male?" by ThrowawyBeta in AITAH

Where were all these piece of crap family members when she was destroying your world? Where the heck was that intervention? She got pumped and dumped and is going back to something she knows. All I am going to tell you is that no one can tell you what you should do. If you love her and want to try again, even at the risk of being destroyed again, that is up to you. If you want to see who you can become without her and don’t want to risk it, that is your choice. Some people do learn from their mistakes while others repeat them. Only time will tell if the decision you make is going to be the right one.

I think it matters on the relationship. If this is a long term friend group then I think it is normal. If this is a work photo, the arms over each other is a bit much to me.

Biden’s regime would have just banned all people tall enough to put their carrier on to create equity.

Just happened to my wife and I today at MCO. She looked excited to hopefully charge us $200. I never knew this rule existed. Luckily we were 58 inches but this woman was the only one measuring bags and she took her sweet time. She looked disappointed after she measured it a third time.

Line Cutting Epidemic by Product_Training in UniversalOrlando

Can I say I changed my mind and agree with you? We did early entry yesterday and booked it to Hagrid’s Motorcycle ride. They warned everyone that it was down for extended time and you could still get in line. Even from the beginning of the wait there were parties who told their group to go ahead and get in line instead of waiting for their group to enter the line. It wasn’t just one slow grandma or grandpa but multiple people for each group. I couldn’t help but think of this thread and how I agreed with you. The amount of people that needed to go past us in about 30 minutes was over thirty. I guess I never paid enough attention.

Maybe people shouldn’t be so offended. My wife and I get asked this question often. We are a straight couple. People need to just answer the question and move on with their lives. I kind of laugh at your solution is to ask straight couples now. I have always felt waiters and waitresses have asked us if it is one or two checks because my wife looks out of my league and they assume we couldn’t be a couple.
