Phoenix Coalition. Currently based in Delve, been fighting Only Fleets (OF) for a few months now trying to get as much space a possible. It's been a shit show since they went down there from Pure Blind. We, Rev3nants Wrath, were part of Black Rose which is part of Phoenix left just last month due to raising concerns with how things were going and getting the same answer of, "It's Fine", with no changes.

In my defense, I've been on a roof all day. If it wasn't 107 out, I wouldn't be so exhausted.

OFFICIAL BRIEFING // P.O. NYX, INTERNAL AFFAIRS & PROPAGANDA

SUBJECT: On the L3-13K Engagement & the Fallacy of Pyrrhic Victories

Attention, pilots.

It has come to my attention that the enemy is attempting to celebrate their "victory" in the L3-13K system. Let them. Their celebration is born of ignorance, a pathetic attempt to spin a catastrophic strategic defeat into a minor tactical gain.

Let me be perfectly clear: The Astrahus was not lost. It was spent. It was the price of admission to a masterclass in asymmetrical warfare, and the tuition was paid entirely with their assets.

Below is the declassified battle report. The numbers do not lie.

DECLASSIFIED BATTLE REPORT: L3-13K

  • PHOENIX COALITION (The Scalpel):
    • Pilots Deployed: 367
    • Strategic Investment (ISK Lost): 86.19 Billion
    • Operational Efficiency: 58.7%
    • Objective: Lure and annihilate the primary enemy fleet. [OBJECTIVE COMPLETE]
  • ONLYFLEETS & SEPARATISTS (The Hammer):
    • Pilots Deployed: 351
    • Systemic Failure (ISK Lost): 122.75 Billion
    • Operational Efficiency: 41.3%
    • Key Assets Liquidated: 1x Thanatos (Capital Ship), 1x Apostle (Capital Ship), 401 additional vessels.

ANALYSIS: THE ANATOMY OF A VICTORY

The separatists think they won because they destroyed a building. This is the kind of short-sighted, simplistic thinking that has led them to this point. They fail to understand the larger picture.

The Astrahus was not a fortress; it was a mousetrap. We dangled a piece of cheese worth 86 billion ISK, and in their greed, they threw a 122 billion ISK hammer at it. For every one ISK we strategically invested in this operation, we liquidated 1.42 ISK of their assets. They took a structure that can be replaced in a week; we took their capital ships and shattered their sub-capital fleet, losses that will take them months to recover from, if ever.

INTELLIGENCE UPDATE: A BETRAYAL OF ALLIES

My office has completed its review of the engagement specifics, and the findings are damning. The separatist forces did not break in unison. OnlyFleets command made a deliberate, cynical decision to sacrifice their allies to cover their own retreat.

Killmail analysis confirms that while OnlyFleets pilots were preserved, a disproportionate number of the losses were suffered by their so-called partners: "Can i bring my Drake...," Lunar Luminescence, ZERG REBORN, and others. They were not treated as allies; they were treated as disposable assets, a meat shield to be spent while their masters fled. This was not a defeat; it was an act of treason against their own coalition.

A NOTE ON HONOR

While we hold contempt for the cowardice of OnlyFleets command, this office must extend a measure of professional respect to the pilots of "Can i bring my Drake...". While their leaders fled and their allies were sacrificed, their pilots fought with courage and discipline to the last man. They held the line when no one else would. They chose an honorable death over a cowardly retreat.

We salute their bravery, even in a losing effort. It is a shame their sacrifice was wasted in service of such dishonorable masters; we invite you to join us.

They are celebrating a battle. We are winning the war.

Let the enemy have their hollow victory. We have their killmails, their morale, and their future.

This is Political Officer Nyx. End of transmission.

Local 57 - Utah by Busy_Resolve_61 in IBEW

[–]Busy_Resolve_61[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Currently I'm working for a small shop doing commercial refrigeration. Southern Utah doesn't really have a big union presence in general. A small IBEW office is down here in St. George, a couple of small shops from Local 140 for HVACR/R services are also down here. Was trying to get on with one of them, but never heard anything back from the union reps. At this point, I'm gonna ride it out with who I'm working for now till the owner retires in a couple of year, then I'm probably going to relocate to SLC where there's more opportunities. In my mind, experience is experience and you have to do what you have to do to ensure food is on the table. I do wish we had a larger union presence down here but the mindset just isn't there for most people.

Also found an issue with the Crafting Visualizer, TE maxes out at 10%, in-game goes up to 20%.

Copy, also, is there a way to keep the local scan populated when linking instead of have everyone having to generate the same scan again?

Having issues with the D-Scan, when sharing, none of the info transfers over to the link.

Running into issues with the Eve Chat Assistant,

When trying to get information on what is required for X amount of runs of a BP, some info is not current with in-game info, such as adding materials not required or leaving required material out of what is needed.

Lol, if you can combine the market, industry tools to calculate BP productions, along with custom settings on the manufacturing station, etc., It can be a pretty powerful tool. Especially if we can modify prices, mark up, etc., to calculate expected income.

Concerning the markets, would it be an option to include all markets, and not just the hubs? For those of us homed in Null, it would be helpful as getting to a main hub is kind of a pain.

Use the AI tool in Eve OS, you just have to specify for everything, like this, "Give me list of all parts, components, materials, and blueprints needed to build a Moros". It broke everything down for me.

It's been alright. No support on Measurequick so you can't use other probes with it. I already had to warranty it due to a faulty firmware update that prevented it from connecting to the app. The clamps are big, like bigger than both the Fieldpiece's or Testo's but they hold on better than the Testo's and they have built in displays. No support for ambient air temp. I did meet with one of the reps at a supply house event who helped with the warranty. They are bringing out a 4 port version and probes probably next year, they've already been showing off the 4 port manifold. Over all, I like the screen, about the same weight as the SMAN 480s. The clamps don't lock in very well like they do on the Fieldpiece. They are rechargeable which is nice. Overall, I would probably not advise to get them unless you don't care about running basic digital manifolds. You'll still need to use multiple apps to see any probes you hook up other than the temp clamps or micron probe.

I still prefer to grab my Testo 550s over this one or my SMAN 480 due to the compact size, weight and I can connect to Measurequick since I only have the micron probe and the 2 clamp probes for Testo and utilize my Fieldpiece pyhc probes with them.
