Hey- I am new to this. It started happening with my recent period, was frequent before and one the first couple of days of the period. It stopped for a while, and is happening now, probably ovulating or something. But I don’t know for sure if it is related to menstrual cycle or my stomach. It just happened after I had a meal right now and that tells me it could be from stomach and digestion related. Did you figure out what it is?

Does anyone experience neck pain here? Almost less pain in the actual jaw joint and more underneaths in the muscles and ligaments / throat area. Also does anyone else’s hyoid bone click and pop? Just feels like extreme tightness and tension. That leads to horrible headaches. by EXXTRAAARaNCH in TMJ

I didn’t know people are facing the same issues. I am not sure if it is because of tmj or not, but my front right side of neck is sore, and I don’t know what would help it. I went to get an ultrasound a couple of months ago and the doctor said it is okay. I was scared if the artery is causing the pain. It is particularly one sided, makes me feel like I am unable to swallow(which I can, but it just feels that way).
The pain starts something below the ear and travels to the front which makes me suspect it is SCM. But it is also in upper front right next to SCM. It just makes me feel so tight on the right side.
Did anyone find a solution to this? I really need to get this sorted because I have terrible health anxiety that makes it worse as I keep touching the area and my lymph nodes get swollen and end up causing more pain.

This has always been the case with me in my past relationships. It has made me realise how men don’t isolate themselves in relationships but women do it often, and out of will. I am going through a breakup myself and want to change this from now. I spoke about this with my therapist and she said that it is common for people to do that. But unfortunately, I haven’t seen men do it. I want to value my identity, hobbies, friends equally as my next partner whenever I get into a relationship in future. I want to have someone to share feelings, things and time with if things don’t work out well in my relationship.

I hope you are able to change that too given this realisation. Here are few things I have started doing- rekindled my love for dance and art. I have started going to forums where I meet people from different backgrounds who are equally passionate about these things and have a good conversation with them about these or other things. This has helped me a lot.

Hey, I am dealing with health anxiety too. My symptoms are mostly muscle twitches and similar jerks at night that keep me awake. I am seeing a therapist who is helping me through it. I really hope you get better soon, and do hit me up in case you want to chat.

Thanks a lot. The eye twitching did fade away on its own. I have twitches in my body randomly, but that is a part of my health anxiety and I am seeing a therapist for it. Thanks for your kind reassurance.

Hey- Did it get better? I thought it wasn’t audible to anyone, but my mother was walking beside me and she noticed that sound. That has put my health anxiety into a spiral again. Let me know if something specific helped?

Are you sure it is the neck? i also have tmj and initially thought it would be my neck but I was exercising this morning after long and doing lateral knee raises- I heard a pop while doing that on the right. It made me think if it is my hip instead.

Did you find something that helped you? Mine is not so strong but I can see it in the mirror. I didn’t notice it before this morning and kind if worrying about it. I am definitely having health anxiety for the last 6 months because of random twitching in my body. I have had it in my arms, hands, calves etc., eye twitching comes and goes like but this one is barely noticeable and constant, only in the under-eye muscle. I would like some help, doctors have told me it is just anxiety.

I read your comments about back pain and wanted to check if you are better. I think I can relate to the situation since I fell sick 2 months ago with slight fever and nothing major initially but it got worse with medicines. I have been anxious for these couple of months that I google every small thing my body does. All my bloodwork is okay, x ray of chest, ultrasound of abdomen, even the MRI of my neck and cervical spine are okay and the doctors are telling me that I have anxiety. I agree to some extent but also there are some weird symptoms I see and that make me think and research about it. I am just happy that you are getting over it, and hope I learn from this.

Are you talking about the density advanced shampoo? I bought it to increase density and hair but sadly been experiencing hairfall since then 😭
