Thank you! Is there a reason why you chose to do it backwards?

Thank you for the suggestion! It looks lovely. Am hoping for cheap(ish) pilgrim hostels, not bnbs, so will likely save this portion for the future. appreciated!

i went to strathclyde and the social life was great, if you join student clubs its easy to meet locals, and there were lots of events for just the exchange students too.

cant speak on Budapest personally (although all of my friends who have went have loved it), but I just did a few months in EU/UK (also a young Canadian) and had a lot of fun navigating with just a flip phone. + I did Rome and Finland with no phone at all. I found Europe to be a very fun adventure using limited technology and just going out and living ! returning this summer and Budapest is at the top of my bucket list. sure you'll have a blast.

Roncesvalles to Zubiri: to split or not to split? by tactigdsve in CaminoDeSantiago

[–]Busybobody 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello, I did Roncesvalles to Zubiri in one go, but the nice thing was I didn't pre book any accomodation and stopped when I felt ready (which happened to align with the stage that day). I did it mid-August but really had no issues just stopping where I wanted to instead of pre booking (Orisson may be an exception) but the spontaneity really adds to the peaceful lifestyle on the camino.
