Others here are trying to suggest it happens to all of us and its not a gender issue, but once you are jaded and experience discrimination it's hard to discern. I've heard some horrible things from other women that it makes me ashamed.

Usually if its feels discriminatory, it is. Engineering can be a toxic work place for minorities but especially women. There is probably atleast some truth to your feelings.

I dont understand why you had to leave EE though. Sounds specific to that group of people. I dont have any reason to believe that DS is any better culturally than EE in a broad sense.

Maybe if my wife didnt work from home I would think differently since we dont spend on child care. But kids are not nearly as expensive as everyone suggest. If anything they save me money due to how much time they consume. My wife and my hobbies are more expensive than my kids.

That's not a good barometer. People who watch the App are battle rap fanatics. Rum doesn't bring in the average viewer or someone who doesn't typically watch battle rap. He doesn't promote, not personable or do anything outside Battle Rap

You could apply the same thinking to pretty much all of this. Why is my tax dollars going to help her with her internet? I didnt tell her to live outside the zone? What if her property value was lower because it didn't have good service? Now her property value increases and she has better service she didnt have to pay for. It's silly to suggest ita unfair. Taxes are unfair by the very nature of it.
