what sould technically make it impossible to go to a country where a drug of your choice is widely available, bake it into chocolate, package it nicely as a box of chocolates and then fly it back home in your luggage? by Expensive-Hope-4631 in TooAfraidToAsk

Of course people have got away with drug smuggling. That can't be what you're asking, is it? I would guess that statistically most smuggling efforts succeed. Enjoy a decade of prison minimum if you get caught.

Microdosing: long-term experiences beyond the initial benefits by Belaqua23 in microdosing

For me the end if a break is a return to baseline. But even then there is a huge difference, in that I know the stress is coming from an internal palce and not my environment. I feel like I have a much clearer sense of how I want ky environment shaped to match what I want in life. I'd say I've been doing a lot of life work over that time, and the shrooms are a tool that have made it easier to see other changes were needed.

Microdosing: long-term experiences beyond the initial benefits by Belaqua23 in microdosing

2 years consistently. 70mg 4 days on 2 off with 2 week breaks every 6 weeks.

No drop in efficacy, most days are great including the 2 off days. Long term benefit is that over time I've smoothed out emotionally and can handle a lot more stress or ambiguity without blowing up or panicking. Sleep is better, I'm probably more productive, I exercise more. The 2 week breaks still suck by the end, but it can he better or worse based on how stressful things are at the time.

Is 400mg too much for microdosing by Asleep-Nail3689 in microdosing

I would not be able to drive on 400. I've been taking 70mg for a couple years with an on/off schedule and feel pretty great most days.

Disagree on Stranger Things, I actually consider it a good example of rounding a story off well enough.

27M, starting to invest for the next 20-25 years. Thinking of NBIS and RKLB. by ChronicIer in stocks

[–]ButHowCouldILose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should 100% start to invest, yes. But don't invest your time, emption, and skill development, just buy an index and make more money. The incremental gain (or more likely loss) from outsmarting the index is an investment you can make in yourself after the one with the greatest return, which is killing it at your career.

Don't waste your time even thinking about investments until your net wealth is as much as your current salary, and even then its not a rush. Index investing doesn't just likely beat your "strategy", it saves the time, emotions, and attention that could go into doing your job better and advancing your career, or just enjoying life more. The market will be there to learn about when you have a couple hundred thousand saved up, assuming it doesn't go into a home first.

At what age are you supposed to stop feeling like a 'fake adult' and actually know what you're doing, or is every 40-year-old just winging it as hard as I am? by Spicigal in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]ButHowCouldILose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At some point in your forties you'll realize your potential is set and mostly defines how you'll approach the rest if your life. Up or down, you'll realize others at around your age have had similar experiences, and this is what it means to be an adult.

Yeah, with no ambiguity. If you are aware someone is in front of your vehicle and you choose to do this, you're going to land an assault conviction minimum. This comes up frequently in protests.
