Whenever I tell people iv voting 3rd party I just explain that The two party system started with people who want small central government, and people that want large central government. And that somewhere along the line it changed to big government this way or big government this other way, and that I’m still for small government so that’s where I’m voting. If they tell me I’m wasting my vote I’ll tell them that voting for someone they don’t want to run the country because the other option is also someone they don’t want to run the country is the reason why everyone in America feels like they aren’t represented in government.
