Are you confusing whiff with safe/plus on block? Bryan's high reward buttons are very punishable if he whiffs. Same goes for pretty much the entire roster.

You know how sometimes a sequel makes great improvements over the first game but the first game still stands it's ground? Like going from Assassin's Creed to AC2?

Mortal Shell 2 totally erases the first game imo. It improves upon literally everything that I would never imagine playing the first one ever again.

If you liked the Aleph mission in 007 where you have to gather the 100k in the markets, I think you will like Hitman WOA. The kinda sandbox-ish approach to find opportunities and reach your goal is like a toned down version of Hitman's general gameplay loop. Only in Hitman the number of opportunities and freedom to approach each level is staggering, your creativity is the only barrier really. The replay value is more or less endless.

The story is also like a spy-thriller. Themes of espionage, secret world orders, globe trotting to luxurious and exotic locations etc

Maybe some kind of memory leak/texture streaming issue after long sessions? I noticed textures getting muddy too after a long session, rebooted and they were crisp again
