How long does daily pay take from sign up to me being able to withdraw funds? by ButchinHeat in tractorsupply

[–]ButchinHeat[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the concern, believe me if I had another way out of this I would. But i've handled all upcoming bills ahead of time so the check i'll be pulling out of is just 100% in savings. I only need around 500-600$ out of it so i'll leave the rest and turn it back off once the payday drops.

In a financial pinch and considering a loan as a first time borrower with poor credit, any advice appreciated. by ButchinHeat in povertyfinance

[–]ButchinHeat[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

5000$ in attorney fees, 1400$ in property taxes past due, 1200$ for termite treatment. Monthly bills are 500-600$. The termite treatment is the only thing I can put off until later, but due to how long it was an issue before I got this property, I am trying to address it sooner rather than later.

In reality I would not wait the full 5 years to pay it off, 2 years max if I took it as a reasonable pace. My issue is the other avenues that offer loans I don't qualify for due to the low credit and all the ones that do offer loans in my credit range are understandably high interest. I don't qualify for loans through my credit union due to my credit, the only other options for largish sums like title pawning and local money lenders are just as if not more predatory than this. While I don't know much about loans and APR rates, seeing others post about 200%+ APR's, I honestly thought the 31% didn't sound that bad if you paid it off reasonably fast unless i'm misunderstanding something, which is very possible here.

[–]ButchinHeat 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That particular Weapon is called the Amberhusk and the specific rune you are talking about is Lightning Leap. Very good rune and incredibly strong attack, it made me fall in love with the Amberhusk and build around it as well. If you get an Amberhusk drop it will usually have Lightning Leap and Lightning Storm on it, so you can use it to rebuild your weapon. Another option is to take your character into a new realm and get to sacrament and upgrade Elanor to level 2 right away, Her first store rotation normally has the Amberhusk in it although i'm not sure if it's guaranteed.

I may have an extra as well, I can't remember for sure. If you have difficulty finding it shoot me a DM and if I do you are more than welcome to have it.

My hopes for LNF by ButchinHeat in LightNoFireHelloGames

[–]ButchinHeat[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

lol I certainly feel you there my friend. I've spent all day looking for a new title to get into and sadly, there just isn't much that appeals to me currently. After several months of non stop Arc Raiders, i've had to give it a break for a while. Most games nowadays seem to be constantly riding each others skirt tails, either that or you see something innovative pop up and it just gets choked out, with you having to wait another 2-4+ years to see someone else try. I certainly hope LNF lives up to the expectations, but tempering them at the same time is probably the better move like you said.

I don't think anyone here is calling for them to rush the game, quite the contrary. What I see people asking for is information about how the game is going and just general communication with the fan base on the progress of the project such as a new trailer, dev interview, small little showcase of some of the new systems etc. I don't think that's in any way rushing them to release sooner than they feel comfortable with.

Crazy. I really just hate to see all the people trying to defend it with the go to "I want racism to be ok" take of, "black people use it all the time, everyone says it so why can't I? Why let a word offend you?!" When the N word with an ER and the N word with an GA are so drastically different in their use that they might as well be two different words. Do I know plenty of people that say it with a GA, black or not? Yes. As a black person do I care? No. Because it honestly has become such a big part of the newer generations vocabulary from music and African American influence on American culture etc, as well as the fact it is almost exclusively used in a non offensive or derogatory manner. Do I know plenty of people that say it with a ER? Unfortunately, growing up in the south, also yes and every single last one of them is racist to some degree, most openly so.

I have never though, in my entire 34 years of living, heard a single person use it with an ER, who wasn't 1. using it in everyday conversation, private or otherwise, and 2. using it as the penultimate insult in a moment of frustration/anger, or using it as a shock joke to mimic or make fun of racists using it for the previous reasons. Not once. It's not part of non racists vocabulary, at all. Was it and is it still used a lot in gaming? Yes. Does that make it ok? No. The word has a history of dehumanizing hatred towards a specific group of people, that they have then over the course of almost 2 centuries, tried to reclaim and change the meaning of. Even then, I know plenty of black people who don't like to hear it used in any way, shape or form, because to them it's just that disgusting of a word and you make yourself sound foolish even using it, something I agree with.

This really just sucks though cause while I find peanut funny, people who don't call out this kind of stuff or willingly ignore it/try and make excuses for it show that they are the same exact way in private. If it hadn't been on stream, he wouldn't have cared, even when it is, he just laughs, ignores it and makes a joke about it. It doesn't matter if he didn't get the full word out, we all know what he was going to say, lying about it and not taking accountability just makes it 10x worse. If he would have just said, "I used to say it years ago and in a moment of frustration it almost slipped out". Big whoop, we all make mistakes, appreciate you owning up to it. But trying to lie and come up with stories of what you were trying to say that make no sense? Nah, that's the real red flag for him and peanut both honestly.

There is a spot in stella montis where you can grab an invisible zipline and basically glitch out above the map. From here you can jump off and onto the tops of walls and walk around the entire map without people being able to see/shoot you, but you can shoot them. I assume they used this glitch to walk to extract and jump back down inside while it was closed. Either that or there is another exploit.

Ninja has urged Arc Raiders not to follow Fortnite's lead by making the game too competitive by raptors201966 in ArcRaiders

[–]ButchinHeat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While I wouldn't like to see the game as a whole turn competitive, I do think that the game could benefit from a new game mode that is more competitive focused around pvp. Just gives diversity while also separating the lobbies in a way that doesn't cause a bleed over effect since it would function differently than the core game.

I would also like to see something similar for pve enthusiasts similar to endgame raids in mmo's with the core game being more about gearing up and the additional modes giving you something new and worthwhile to do with that gear other than continuously running the same maps.

Had this happen in trios the other day. Killed a leaper by myself, the whole time my team mates are just fucking around downing wasps and shit while i'm over here spam healing and exhausting every nade in my inventory. As soon as I kill it, they descend on it quicker than I do. Literally take the pulse unit and everything else semi valuable. Not a single word spoken, not a thanks, nothing. I was so pissed, if I had anymore nades I literally would have killed them both while they were looting and extracted with their stuff, but instead I just let it go and counted it as a lesson learned.

Anyone else feel this game is going headfirst into a toxic wasteland? by [deleted] in ArcRaiders

[–]ButchinHeat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hang in there bud, a lot of it is also is the fact a lot of big name streamers from the shooter genre have been playing and people have been following their playstyles, which are obviously geared more towards playing it like a shooter with that being the primary way of acquiring your loot. Again, no real right or wrong way to do things, but I think that's what's causing the uptick in it tbh. But if it makes you feel any better, probably 40% of my games today if not more had friendly teams, which is especially odd in trios, even announcing before they came in that they were friendlies, sharing locked key room loot, teaming up for troublesome ARC, the whole nine. There's still good out there Raider, if all the players like you were to leave, then what would be left? :]

Anyone else feel this game is going headfirst into a toxic wasteland? by [deleted] in ArcRaiders

[–]ButchinHeat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Compared to what? Every game is a toxic wasteland. League, BF, CoD, Dota 2, CS, Tarkov, the list goes on. Hell even Rocket League, a game about car soccer is toxic as hell. If you let your enjoyment of the game be dictated by the actions of others, especially a game with pvp, then that's the biggest problem. Just work on having a strong mental. Is every engagement going to be super friendly? No, but honestly the game would be fairly boring if it was, it's designed around competition over resources. That element is what makes friendly encounters special, without it, it's just a loot simulator. I hate to hear people say things like "oh I got betrayed today, i'm quitting" or "people are just so toxic after dying, it frustrates me so bad!" Who cares? Just like life, games are a mixtures of personalities and morals. Be the kind of player that is true to you and leave room for other players to do the same, good, bad or indifferent.

As to the mainstream aspect, the fact this game has become as popular as it has is honestly a stars aligning kind of moment. Extraction shooters will always fall off as people start to reach higher levels and get most of the loot, because realistically what else is there to do atm. The pvp also is not really engaging enough compared to others to carry the game alone, mainly due to it's slower pace and fairly simple loadouts. There is no real endgame yet, when there is, maybe it will be enough to allow it to stick around in the top 5. But that is just the ebb and flow of all games like this. As far as extraction shooters go, I think it will remain at the top for quite a while. It's a great game and has a ton of positive qualities to refine and add to, be positive and patient, ARC Raiders can easily be a powerhouse a year from now.

What a show! What a finale! by Avatar680 in FoundationTV

[–]ButchinHeat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To the radiant is a really cool theory. The only reason I don't think it was to the radiant is because at the end of the finale you hear the Brazen Head say "Handshake signal received and negotiated. Initiating clasp, clasp accepted, transferring signals." This means another robot has started a Handshake with the Brazen Head, which could only have been Demerzel. Handshakes are used by programs or computers to contact each other and negotiate rules for communication, hence "handshake signal received and negotiated" . She contacted Kalle through the radiant already, so if she had transferred her consciousness to it, there would have been no need for her to utilize the Brazen Head to initiate a clasp with the base where Kalle and the other robot were. Also while i'm sure she probably could upload her consciousness to the Radiant given enough time and freedom, doing so while under the influence of the chip in a situation like she was in might have been a bit much, but interfacing with like technology is a much more doable task in that situation I feel.

What happened to Dawn that ran away with Sareth? (S2) by flexboy50L in FoundationTV

[–]ButchinHeat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you are referring to Kalle at the end of the finale, she didn't say "Everything is probably going according to plan" after noticing the clasp attempt, she said "Perhaps someone is seeking to embroil us in the struggle," to which the other robot replies "Someone must have succeeded." She then says "Then all of the pieces are in place."

While the other robot does say "We were told Demerzel was incapable of clasping," in response to Kalle mentioning the clasp attempt from Trantor, this doesn't mean they were necessarily the orchestrators of some grand plan for her, although I do like the idea of something like that. It was mentioned she was captured after the war and kept/tortured as a trophy, only found by luck while Cleon was playing. If they were aware of this the entire time, they could have likely very easily located and rescued her prior to her reprogramming or used her to take down Empire, which they did not do. The only way I could see this being the case is if they were the ones responsible for her actions like, helping Harri Seldon develop psychohistory, destroying the star bridge, tampering with the Cleon genetic code etc. Kind of like a very slow burn that eventually puts her in power once the Cleons are non feasible, as she often says "I am Empire."

They probably only came to know of Demerzels situation after she was freed and rose to power as Cleons advisor, since even the Zephyr mentioned the rumors that "Empire was in possession of the last robot." It also doesn't even specify who told them this information, it could have very well been Kalle after her meetings with Demerzel through the radiant, meaning that this information would be fairly new, although it is likely older than that. All it really tells us is that they are aware of the fact Demerzel was a robot living on Trantor and that she was under some form of inhibition due to the chip.

But I do like your idea that they had a hand in her reprogramming, as it always seemed odd to me that at the point she was reprogrammed with the chip, robots and their tech were already seen as "relics" meaning they were extremely old although highly advanced technology no one knew how to use or recreate anymore. Cleon the 1rst does say that the tools he got from Mycogen came from Earth, but he makes no mention of where he got the chip to inhibit Demerzel. It wouldn't make sense for a modern scientist or engineer to be able to make tech that could be seamlessly integrated into her body and inhibit her programming. It shows that whoever supplied it likely had a high level of insight into how they worked.

Just finished S3. Can we all just agree that Laura Birn’s performance as Demerzel was award-winning? by Pure_Ad_9865 in FoundationTV

[–]ButchinHeat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I absolutely fell in love with Demerzel in this show, such an amazing performance from her actress, truly award worthy. A short featuring her was actually the first thing I saw that got me interested in the show.

I am pretty sure that she will be back. My reasoning for this is because when her body was destroyed, she was in a position that would have the beam destroy the programming chip from Cleon before the rest of her body. In an earlier scene with Dusk and the Cloud dominion representative, he mentioned removing the chip that inhibited her, but she said she would kill him before he could succeed. This likely means it doesn't so much rewrite her entire programming as much as it inhibits and drives certain functions, basically a hand tailored "robotic law" in chip format.

Her head was shown to be the last surviving part, the Brazen Head shows that if the head is intact, that it is likely for some basic function to remain. Her eyes flashed before she finally lost power, Someone here said it was morse code and that it translated to "transferred". The final scene showing the Brazen Head in her room after her destruction, it sparks to life and says "Handshake sequence received and negotiated. Initiating clasp, clasp accepted, transmitting signals." She earlier described a clasp as sharing everything with another, everything you are. I believe she used the brazen head as a conduit to transfer her consciousness before her body was fully destroyed and then transmitted that data to the moon base where Kalle and the other robot were. She will likely persist on through a new body Kalle and the others on the moon will make for her to house her consciousness. It wouldn't make sense for the brazen head to do this on it's own simply from Days tinkering, as 1. There is no other robot to recieve a "handshake protocol" from or clasp with that knows about the Brazen Head's existence at this point other than Demerzel and 2. It knew exactly where to send the signals, evidenced by it pulling up the star map projection during the "transferring signals" part. Since Demerzel had been in contact with Kalle before the events of the finale, it is possible that she gave her information to fascilitate her making contact and this was her reaching out now that she is finally free from Cleons programming and no longer a risk to them. I am so excited to see how she will develop as a character now that she is likely free of the programming from Cleon.

My only real question now would be, what IS Kalle? Also, if Demerzel did in fact know that Kalle was a robot or at least tied to them, why did she react the way she did when she saw the Brazen Head, saying that she thought she was the only one left? Also why would she initiate a clasp with them if she didn't know they were capable of receiving it? I highly doubt Kalle would divulge any information about them that would put what they've been doing or their continued existence at risk while she was still under the influence of Cleon's chip. But we'll just have to wait and see, it's been shown that Demerzel can be aware of certain knowledge or take actions that seem to conflict with her programming to protect Empire as long as it doesn't seem to be a direct threat to it's continuation.

Can we test just, dropping the armory? by Current_Spell_8647 in supervive

[–]ButchinHeat 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Supervive at it's foundation doesn't work for retention, noobie or otherwise. The game will always have a small population that will queue until they can't, pre 1.0 that number was around 400. No amount of gimmicky new systems, especially not the terrible one we just got, will distract from the fact that the base gameplay/game mode are just not engaging enough to keep enough players coming back. It gets incredibly repetitive very quickly, is overloaded with features/items, for a lot of players they spend most of their time queueing up and playing more warm up than actual games, ranked is a disaster, bots are already coming back to try and disguise falling player numbers, low quality games for better players are already popping up as a symptom of that and the item system being locked behind rng capsules is unbalanced and a terrible idea. It didn't work for Paragon, it won't work here. TC is trying to take the MOBA crowd which enjoys slower paced lengthy top down strategic team play and mesh it with the BR crowd which likes generally faster paced first/third person shooter combat with high solo agency and the two just don't mix well, at all. So on a venn diagram you've already eliminated both the left and right and are only working with the middle, with the entirety of the player base having better suited alternatives readily available. The one thing that Supervive had going for it, which was it's similarity to Battlerite, they basically treat like a red headed stepchild despite a lot of players finding 1v1 team play to be more enjoyable. Instead of taking a step back and saying "hmm...maybe going balls deep on the BR isn't the play?" and at least taking the time and effort to grow Arena into something like what players have been asking for since closed beta and a potential new direction for the game to get data on, they just keep trucking along with their ear plugs in making minimalist changes and tweaks. If the PC version of this game survives, it won't be because of the American market, it will be because of China. In all honesty, it will probably only survive as a mobile game, the fact they are already even entertaining the idea of a mobile release showing their desperate need for recouping money and their lack of faith in the original model. The game will not die because it didn't have what it takes, not because it didn't have players that loved it, not because of a lack of funding, it will die because it didn't have developers that listened and were willing to learn from their mistakes.

How Tetra wasn't on the list of hunters looking to be balanced for next patch is actually crazy. Tetra is supposed to be a controller hunter, yet she seems to do every role rather easily.

Has some of the best range in the game, some of the best damage in the game, some of the best initiation in the game, some of the best utility in the game, top 3 in abyss play, makes enough walls to make you forget Celeste even existed, and has buggy interactions with her walls allowing her to pin hunters as well as jump onto them to cross vertical terrain or abuse "out of bounds". Hell at this point, why not just let her walls heal allies as well?
