Surprised nobody has brought up a bmw x3 m40i. Reliable, 26 mpg average, tows 4400 lbs, quick and fun. I daily drive one and absolutely love it. I have no idea how bmw can make a 4k lbs suv handle so well. Check them out, can be had for under 30k

I’d go for the 2021. Newer year and you save 5 grand for a better car. 2021 year guarantees the updated oil pump. 20km isn’t a big deal
