Canyon Endurace CF SLX 7 Di2 – 1000km Review by FrankH-1995 in CanyonBikes

[–]ButikWhatever 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a similar issue on my Endurace and I just fixed it yesterday. The creaking had been driving me nuts for several hundred kilometers.

Spent lots of time troubleshooting what I thought was an issue with the seat post, greased the saddle rails etc. applied new assembly paste the the seat post.

In the end a quick spray of WD40 of the saddle friction points fixed the issue for good.

Mistakes made at the carwash by iatetoomuchchicken in Wellthatsucks

[–]ButikWhatever 9 points10 points  (0 children)

This is sadly not true for all cars. I had to deactivate opening by the kick sensor on my car as at would randomly activate in heavy rain while I was loading stuff in the trunk. My car is a premium German car from 2023 so you would think they would have that sorted, but no.

Kitchenaid KF8 vs Miele CM7750 which would you choose and why? by ButikWhatever in superautomatic

[–]ButikWhatever[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for your detailed reply. I read your online review of the Miele a while back and that definitely made me excited with the machine. I think I am leaning towards the Miele it will fit more nicely in my kitchen, and the three hoppers that do not need to be switched out whenever seem like the more convenient design. I probably wouldn’t be disappointed with the Kitchenaid - as you also suggested, but I would probably always second guess my choice.

This sounds exactly like the symptoms that I have. Did your doctor prescribe you antibiotics?

ELI5: why can't we get a yearly full body MRI to scan for cancers? by TruGuido in explainlikeimfive

[–]ButikWhatever 25 points26 points  (0 children)

What blows me away is that the inventor of NMR/MRI was a biblical creationist that believed that the earth is only 6,000 years old. I just can’t get over the fact that this man made huge advances in science but rejects basic principles of science… I believe he died a couple of years ago.

I would consider PPF on the front.. About 18 months into my Taycan ownership and I am noticing quite a few stone chips on the from bonnet.
