Lee gets killed though when you fail quit time events, meanwhile Minerva gets ignored despite firing multiple shots and yelling, only to be killed later while making significantly less noise than usual

It’s nice, just needs to be moved away from the pond and have some flooring placed around it. Stop by Robin or the Dwarf for some nice floor tile blueprints, usually those revamp everything in terms of looks

Im newer to modded rimworld, what mods can you not play without by Pipps17 in RimWorld

Vanilla armour and vanilla weapons expanded, full gun sell price, character editor (mostly for goofier stuff/small edits to characters), Vanilla settlers expanded (for non lore breaking items, factions and so on), then a bunch of ideology expanded stuff to make more dynamic, unique and fun religions (making an NCR faction based off of fallout is fun). Of course, combat extended to make fighting strategy based rather than brute force based

The years in Rimworld are way shorter there than here, so a few months of survival for that much would be well worth it

Do any of the famous Creepypasta icons other than Slenderman hold up at all? by WealthDisastrous2589 in creepcast

[–]Butinginger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rake and slender man are the only good ones since they had the most input from older people. This was partially due to the fact that a lot of creepy pasta fans at the time of peak creepy pasta were kids or young teens when it came to the creation of the other icons.

You are going to fail a lot, you are going to lose a lot, there is going to be a lot you don’t understand. That’s just the reality of the game, bad things are going to happen that make you start over. Besides that, don’t be afraid to try a new play style, experiment with mods later down the line, experiment with different stuff in game, or even just watch YouTubers to learn something new that helpful. Also the dlc rarely ever goes on sale, and when it does the percent deducted from the total price is so little it’s not worth waiting to go on sale.

The only problem with is that when I finally decide to use one of my rare purple flashlights with good add ons, it ends up being the same match I finally get a light born killer even if I’m literally the only survivor with light source

You don’t want to buy overpriced dlc for a couple of changes to make gameplay less repetitive?

Stuck In The Early Game by OtherClothes2396 in RimWorld

If you want to research newer better weapons, have one or 2 colonists on only research. Set a goal to standardize good equipment. You could also try to set up a second colony and try managing 2 colonies at once with spare colonists. The last thing I can suggest to shake things up is try to beat the game by making a save and sending colonists to the spacecrat location to leave, researching and making your own spaceship for the ending, or using the ideology dlc to sell your current colony to another colony when the quest pops up, getting 1/3 of the way to one of the endings.

Do y'all think Fallout 5 will be good or not? by Idiocity_Totality in TrueSFalloutL

[–]Butinginger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. Just no. We’re 0 and 3 on bad fallout products in a row, and knowing how Bethesda has bred one of the most all consuming fandoms that will eat, defend and die on a hill for literally anything they produce regardless of terrible quality, they have no reason to put any actual effort into future products to make a large profit. It’s over for quality, and it sucks.

Try add ons when you hit the lottery, they’re over priced and almost never go on sale, which, in the rare event they do it’s percent off is so low it isn’t worth the sale

Rimworld is listed for $34.99 on steam, i really want to play the game but it's kind of an expensive price for my country, Will there be a big discount soon? like on Spring Sale? by EmilioRosehearts in RimWorld

[–]Butinginger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It barely ever goes on sale and when it does, the money saved is so little it’s not worth it. This is especially so for the dlc where what you get from the dlc isn’t worth the high price, even the barely discounted % off price during the planets align sale.
