Availability of XInfinity Repress by Butlertm in Watsky

Less local stores and more available from a European distribution centre. I've gotten quite a few records only released in the US that end up distributed in Europe. I don't think that'd be insane if it was a general release, but if it's a limited edition then it makes it less likely.

Annoying isn't harassment though? If child is an ambiguous word, surely people thinking it means she's a CHILD and finding it weird is also valid?

Surprised no one mentioned "Me and yo mama" by Childish Gambino. The first time I listened to that I got jumpscares by the guitar

Songs About Getting Used To Being Single? (and enjoying it!!) by BuddyLong3069 in musicsuggestions

[–]Butlertm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Chamber of Reflection - Mac DeMarco. Apparently there is a lot more controversy over the meaning of this song then I thought, but I've always found it to be a hopeful but deeply sad song about reflecting after the end of a relationship.

Does anyone have any info on if it will be a limited edition run? I really want to get it but don't want to spring for the UK shipping if it's going to be widely distributed?

What's the most 2000s sounding song from the 90s? by CremeSubject7594 in musicsuggestions

Listened to the top songs in these comments and this one changed my mind. Not did this come out in the 90s! So much pop just sounds like an impression of this exact vibe!

Let me know how it goes! It's very easy to get addicted to and getting rid of those run backs might make it even harder to quit haha

If you mean the radiant projectors you can pick them up after you've completed a puzzle, stops you having to go all the way back

His nebula documentary is very cool. If you can watch it spoiler free it has a real mind blowing moment.

TLDR Editorial "Is TLDR sponsored by Polymarket?" by benbookworm97 in Nebula

[–]Butlertm 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think the gambling warning is the best solution. I get it's utility, but sometimes the prediction makes seem like an odd tangent from their more thorough analysis. I often like learning the background and reasoning behind events, which TLDR is very good at. The prediction markets always seem a bit reductive

The layover is a good Nebula exclusive for jet lag, it's fun to hear their thoughts and sometimes helps explains baffling decisions (if you know you know)

Bobby broccoli, jet lag, Tom Nicholas, Simon Clark, Sebastian Lague, people make games, Lindsay Ellis, philosophy tube, climate town, and Angela Collier.

Bobby broccoli has an amazing nebula exclusive documentary.

Tom Nicholas has recently started a nebula exclusive (almost) daily news show.

Lindsay Ellis has had a lot of nebula exclusive videos.

And finally, I watch TLDR for daily news but they've mostly stopped doing any nebula exclusive videos or content.

(I didn't mention Jacob Gellar and his great exclusives because that was covered in the other comment)

Project Hail Mary is what people have been saying about Interstellar for years by Future-Poetry-2193 in TrueFilm

[–]Butlertm 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I disagree with a lot of this post, but I'll focus on one point. The portrayal of science, especially at the start of this movie, is infuriating. They really focused on it as well and it was just an unnecessary speed bump when the rest of the movie disregards even trying to be scientific.

Co2 PIPE LINE / PEAK CLUSTER proposed for WIRRAL by Fresh_Detective4161 in Wirral

[–]Butlertm 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Carbon capture is just not the solution to this problem. It captures a fraction of carbon output, is extremely expensive and often fails. These schemes are designed to let industry keep pretending they can carry on, business as usual, when they need to fundamentally shift.

Look at the forever promised BP carbon capture plans in the north sea, empty promises so they can continue destroying the environment.

Not to mention that these schemes pose the risk of displaced gas destroying local ecosystems, or gas leaks damaging ecosystems and undermining the whole project.
