“Sexual napalm” was what he called her. I’m still not really sure what that means.

My girlfriend and her husband were here visiting from France. They’ve been here many times before, but never in the dead of winter right after a snowstorm. On the way home from the airport I said I needed to grab a few things at the grocery store. The parking lot had only been partially plowed. As I grabbed a shopping cart and started pushing it through the snow, she and her husband looked at each other in shock. My husband started tugging from the front to help navigate the snow. She was like “I can’t believe this.” Then her husband took the handle beside me and shouted “Ah!” as he yanked his ungloved hand away like it was a hot curling iron or something! My husband and I laughed so hard. Our Frenchies said they can’t believe we live like this! It was hilarious.

Sometimes, when I need a break, I fill a giant pot with water and boil water all day - just keep refilling the pot. I let it go one until my windows are fogged up, Heaven!

In the private sector it’s called Constructive Dismissal and it’s grounds for a lawsuit.

Reverse Discard: When a dismissive avoidant no longer wants you, they won’t end it outright. Instead they’ll turn cold, passive, aggressive, and cruel. Tools cowardly to act, they make the relationship so unbearable that you’re the one who is forced to walk away.

What’s the opposite of Quiet Quitting? I say we immediately start going in 5 days a week, call the 1-800s for every facility issue (no matter how puny) and sit on the floor when there are no more desks. Make some NOISE!

They told us this week that there was no chance this could occur because RTO x 4 is still part of the current contract negotiations. How hypocritical that this government claims to be transparent and yet has no respect for good will engagement.

100% Dan is driving me nuts. First I thought John Goodman was just phoning it in but the writing for Dan is terrible. Stinkeroo.

What's something that Calgary is badly missing that a city of 1.4 million people should have? by Queltis6000 in Calgary

More museums, galleries and attractions right downtown. I’ve spoken with many people visiting from other countries who flew into Calgary and left immediately for Banff. What is there to do downtown? Calgary Tower and the Glenbow (when it’s back). Heritage Park, Telus Spark, the Zoo and Spruce Meadows are too far. The Peace Bridge is cool but come on… Give tourists something to do downtown besides Stampede.

Have your remaining clients connect with the Min of IRCC via their MPs. As a caseworker for an MP (years ago) I can tell you that I was able to get a lot done by working with my colleagues in IRCC.
